Even though you were assigned a position does not mean you are done. You are only responsible for that one task. Ask your committee members how you can help them out. Brainstorm ideas to make your tasks and others more creative and new! Keep in contact with other committees if you have joint work with them. Ask questions to Chairs, we want to help you!

New Peep Helpers: Eventually, some of you will be assigned a New Peep. Your job is to help get them acclimated to our fast paced lives and teach them for upcoming events. If you dont get one, its allllll good

SELL TICKETS SELLLLLLLLLL ADS

COMMITTEE BUG PEOPLE TO SELL ADS!!!!!!! o Mention Sponsorships at BK Meeting BK recommend to other groups they are in to sell adds to $215 get a cover or inside fold/full page, special mention in slide show Design Ads if need Create goal for number of ads sold or money raised from ads ***Dont sell to ThundarRadio, Spectrum, and BIN! goes to a different committee Jake Williams: o Put together program (look at past for examples) History of BK Schedule of Acts Write-up of MCs, Cast, and Producers Write-up on trophies/awards o Dane will be your contact person Emily: o Get pictures of MCs. Cast, and produces for program o Get written blurbs/quotes/facts for program Kyle and Beck: o Gather money and ads Keep amazing records of ads sold! o Money goes to Treasurer (keep list of who has paid and who will be billed after show)

Tickets and Hospitality Eric: o

Arrange Snacks and Drinks for Performance night Pass around signup to have people bring something o Assign members to acts and judges for during the event Judge swooner, video taper, ushers, talent-followers Talent-followers: make sure acts have equipment and know when they are up during rehearsals and show Stephanie: o Ask Lauren for a copy of the example letter o Make the letter to parents of Court (see example) Obtain Courts address and mail to parents Include complimentary tickets to Court family, MCs family, BK advisors, Charity spokesperson, producers family, and judges Roughly 50-55 tickets minimum Tiffany o Arrange for flowers you decide with Treasurer who how much we should spend, therefore deciding who gets the flowers Corsages, Lapel Flowers Judges, Charity speaker, Producers? Katie (is on Publicity Committee so talk to her) o Design and Print Tickets through Morrill Hall Tickets should include: Theme, Charity, Date/Place/Time, Cost (5) o Pass out 5 ticket per peep to sell on their own time PLUS everyone needs to sell tickets at the booth Give rest of tickets to Savannah for the booth Mike n Fiken you are also on Viral/Social Media group o Man of The Night The night of homecoming you will be responsible for: Staffing the ticket selling table Staffing the SPAM award counters Staffing the ushers/program givers Making sure people know where to go (acts, BK, families, etc)

Viral/Social Media EVERYONE in committee decide o Viral people get the word out! Social media advertising, Facebook, text bomb, etc. Any new (extreme) ideas? Megan and Brock: o Trophies (decide what they look like and MAKE the SPAM but order others)
One trophy is kept in the library (talk to them to get it out for the event) and the rest are in tubs that the Equipment Manager stores (?- Check with Holms and our advisors!!)

Publicity Katie: o Make poster design and logo ASAP after finding out charity o Make Tickets via Ticket/Hospitality Committee Sarah: Work with the Chairs/President to figure out when you will need reservations in the Union Union Print table tents (1/4 sheets), Posters (2ftX3ft), and a banner for outside Make sure to advertise awards (SPAM award) Reserve a booth in the Union to sell tickets a week before OR have a booth outside For booth need: flyers, tickets, money box from Union, poster to stand next to book, rent a T-Stand for standing poster Figure out set up of all week of September 30th Reserve Shepards Arena for Friday to store the bikes in (Jace will order bikes) Savannah: o Be in charge of make a sign-up for BK to sell tickets at Union Booth during school day No booth selling on Friday? you decide and let chairs and president know o Put flyers in organizations mail boxes in the SAO by September 24th advertise SPAM Award o Bug Greek life to be in show and come to show Rachel Black in charge of putting together and delegating duties for the: o Its Here CAGE! Stick with the viral theme, theme of show, and charity Lauren Wilvers will have the TV Talk to Lauren n Dane about idea Craft items are in our BK locker in the SAO and use the SAO Resource room o CHALK! check with President/Chairs to make sure we have space reserved to chalk Dane + MCs + tech savy peeps o Opening Video o Help MCs with video Shooting, editing takes wayyy longer than you think o Slide Show Get pictures/blurbs/quotes from EMILY + Music The slide show consists of music, pictures and bios of all the acts and interesting facts about BK The interesting facts should be random and not the same as in the brochure Have this ready to go A WEEK BEFORE the event, FCH needs to have it early Alec Espland o Work with ThundarRadio, Spectrum, and BIN to SWAP adds in their programs for ours o Start on this early!!!!

Talent search and Judges

RECRUIT TALENT! Compose tryout application o When they turn in application they need to sign up for a tryout time or be contacted by email to set up a try out time Advertise Homecoming Show Tryouts o Email student body Maybe do a fake this is a test alert email? check with advisors before send o Email to organization leaders directly o 11X17s around campus o 2x3 poster in Union work with the President to reserve o Contact high schools, past acts, or anyone else you can think of o Keep in contact with CA for other advertising opportunities Arrange tryout judges for ALL tryouts (BK members who can make tryouts to observe) o Send out reminder emails/texts to Peeps about the tryouts so people attend Arrange Judges for show (3 head honchos on campus, at least one from charity) to judge actual event Have judging sheets ready for event Contact between Acts and BK is IMPORTANT o Email a reminder of tryout time and thank-you for trying out o Make sure that they know what is going on o Email/Call results of they made the event or not o Give them tickets to sell (if they want to) advertise SPAM award o The acts need to be there for the ENTIRE rehearsal o Inform performances to buy tickets in advance For themselves and members within the act
