HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION Dust may cause irritation to upper respiratory tract (nose and throat). May cause sensitization by skin contact. May cause eye irritation. Very toxic to aquatic organisms. ________________________________________________________________________ 4. FIRST-AID MEASURES Never give fluids or induce vomiting if patient is unconscious or is having convulsions. Ingestion Do not induce vomiting. Provided the patient is conscious, wash mouth with water and give plenty of water to drink. Consult a physician. The decision of whether to induce vomiting or not should be made by an attending physician.

TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION Ingestion Single dose oral toxicity is considered to be low. The oral LD50 for rats is >5000 mg/kg. Skin Contact The dermal LD50 for rats is >5000 mg/kg. A single prolonged exposure is not likely to result in the material being absorbed through skin in harmful amounts. Essentially non-irritating to skin. Sensitisation Sensitising to guinea pig skin.
