Hows your child doing with learning his left from right? Were practicing here at school but home reinforcement helps too!
This week we are ready for the Battle of Jericho in which God miraculously delivered a seemingly impenetrable city into the hands of the Israelites. Then we will we get to blow our horns again with Gideon. See if your child can tell you what two strange weapons Gideon and his men took into battle. The battle truly does belong to the Lord! In math we will work with sorting and patterning. Later this week we will start talking about our families. This is when it would be helpful to have a copy of a family picture. I will be keeping it at school but will return it to you by the end of the school year. So please send a family picture by Wednesday. Friday, October 26 is a day to show your school spirit and wear anything green, gold or that says Apostles. Pull out those field trip shirts if youd like, but be sure to show your Apostles pride!
I thought all the school pictures were adorable, but if you disagree you have the opportunity on Wednesday for picture re-takes. If you want to re-take your childs individual picture return the original picture packet by Wednesday.
