ROLLMAX
ROLLMAX* is a patented expansion roller housing discs set at different angles. Each roller component rotates along its own axis and its angle of inclination can be adjusted both quickly and accurately by a handwheel. ROLLMAX lets you optimise the expansion of fabrics, plastic films, paper and all ribbon materials in general. The fact that the system is made up of separate components means that roller parameters can be set to meet specific requirements. Compared with other expansion rollers, ROLLMAX offers more even pressure over the entire contact surface avoiding dangerous tension or lateral pull that might damage the product being rolled. It is also well worth noting that rollers can be "expanded" during the rolling procedure.

EXPANSION ROLLERS
ROLLMAX expansion rollers have been designed to provide perfect, evenly expanded surfaces over the full length of the material being machined. ROLLMAX is ideal for all ribbon materials such as fabrics, paper, plastic films and non-woven fabrics. The new 150 version can deal with lengths of up to 6 metres with the option of inserting a central support that decreases deflection. The roller has a steel or carbon fibre inner shaft that means it is lighter and vibrates and bends less. Each disc consists of a resin bearing with stainless steel ball bearings for smooth uninterrupted running.

Functional principle

The ROLLMAX system lets you adjust how much a material is expanded by changing the angle of the inner discs by turning the handwheel.

The expansion factor can be further modified as required by fitting an oscillating counter-roller that, apart from increasing the tension, also increases the angle at which the material is coiled on the ROLLMAX to provide even greater performance.

The shaft supports can be fixed (see figure alongside), or be free at one end and adjustable at the other by means of a handwheel connected to a reduction gear system. This allows for faster adjustment by just one operator.

SLATTED EXPANSION ROLLER
EXPANDER is a slatted roller that allows all ribbon material surfaces to be expanded even under intense lateral tension. Thanks to moveable lathes, EXPANDER ensures strong, even pull over the whole surface to be treated.

CENTRING ROLLER
ROLLDRIVER is a centring roller that, thanks to constant electronic adjustment, guides the material along the roller to facilitate centring.

Any distortion of the material is detected by sensors that instantly correct the angle of the discs that make up the ROLLDRIVER to centre the material properly. ROLLDRIVER lets you optimise the centring of fabrics, plastic films, paper and all ribbon materials in general. The fact that the system is made up of separate components means that roller parameters can be set to meet specific requirements. ROLLDRIVER is also available without electronics and can be customised to meet customer requirements.
