Here is the feedback I received from my questionnaire, I asked 20 people with an even number of Male and Female participants as I feel my results would then be more generalisable.
I asked this question as I already had an idea of what I wanted my target audience age to be which was between the age of 16-25, so with all 20 participants being between that age I know that these results can be used. I asked an even number of Male and Female participants.
Asking this question allows me to take account of all results I now receive, with my music magazine being aimed at Hiphop and R&B fans, it would be inappropriate to ask people who do not take an interest in the genre of music. Luckily for me all 20 participants do listen to R&B and Hip-Hop music.
This question is more of a personal question about my target audience, allowing me to develop an idea of the type of fan they are and what they seek when discovering and listening to new music. From this I now know that the main thing that attracts my target audience is how artists are presented and who features on a song.
Asking this question allows me to appropriately price my music magazine to maximise sales, if I was to go against this research and price my magazine between 3-4 the music magazine would not sell as expected due to only 1 out of the 20 people saying they would pay that price. Therefore I will price my magazine at a price between 1-2.
Asking this question now separates those that are interested in music magazines and those that are not, the results show that more people (13/20) do not read/buy music magazines.

By asking this question I hoped to gain an idea why those that buy music magazines to tell me why they buy music magazines as it will assists me when planning my magazine. The results show that out of the 7 that do read music magazines, they are attracted by preferred genre of music, visual images and gossip therefore I will include these in my music magazine.
This question allows me to find why out why people do not read music magazines, hopefully the reasons why they do not read music magazines I will be able to put right in my music magazines. The results show that one reason was that the price was too expensive and that they do not interest such a younger audience.
This question allows me to find out from my target audience what would possibly motivate them to pick up a music magazine and buy one, this is one of my main questions as I would want my music magazine to attract people and start to gradually build up sales. The results show that exclusive news and interviews followed by the selected artists will be the main two concepts that will attract most of my target audience, but I will still include other concepts.

The target audience favourite the layout of A Billboard magazine the most, followed by Vibe. From these results I will focus my front cover around the layout of Billboard magazine and similar features from Vibe also to the front cover.

The results from this question are clear that the main feature that would attract my target audience would be the use of an image on my front cover, that is a main convention of music magazines therefore I will definitely put a main image on the front cover of my music magazine.
This was the final question on my questionnaire which was focusing on the content of my articles (double page spread) I feel this would be one of the main selling points of a music magazine if presented to the reader appropriately. In comparison to the other pages, the audience would prefer that I do include more text and chatty language within the double page spread.
