Things to Remember
Last date for registration for any event is 15th of March 2013. There is no fee for registration/ participation. College/Institute authorization is must. Decisions of judges shall be final and binding. Entries can be sent either by e-mail, or telephone to any of the under mentioned programme coordinators. Entry only on producing Institutes identity card. Participants cannot participate in more than one event if they are occurring simultaneously. Any student found violating discipline of the Institute will be punished with fine and will be disqualified and asked to leave RBMI campus immediately. Every participant will be given a participation certificate. College/ Institute getting maximum number of points overall will be given a Trophy.
AD MAD SHOW
Rule of the Game: The team size can be maximum 4 members and minimum 2 members. The maximum time for Ad is 5 minutes. The Advertisement can only be in English, Hindi or Bi-lingual. This Mad-Ad is not an individual event. The caution should be taken to refrain from displaying obscenity, violence, prejudice, defamation etc. in Advertisement. The contestants are strictly advised not to disclose the name of their College/Institution to the Jury members/audience. The decision of Judges will be final and binding. In case participants exceed the time limit Judges will be free to disqualify the team. The organizing Committee reserves the right to change the venue, time and rules, if desired. There will be only one team from each participating college/institute comprising four (4) members. Each team will be given a product name randomly on the spot on which they have to prepare an advertising campaign. Teams will be given 2 hours time for the preparation The show from each team should consist of 10 minutes presentation by one or two members on 5 Ms of advertising (i.e.2 minutes presentation for each M). This presentation on 5 Ms should be in the following format: 1. Mission : To specify the objective of your advertisement 2. Money : How much amount you want to spend on the campaign. 3. Message : What message you want to communicate. 4. Media : Which media you prefer to use. 5. Measurement : How should the result is evaluated. The Presentation may be audio visual one and must be in English Only. Immediately after this presentation team members have to act over their advertising campaign for maximum of 2 minutes. This may be in English, Hindi or a mix. The act should not contain any un-social or vulgar activities.
The performance of each team will be evaluated from both presentations with 80 % weightage on 5 Ms presentation and 20% weightage on the Act. Teams may use LCD Projectors for their presentation, which will be provided by the Institute on prior request. Participating teams are requested to bring their own laptops or any other accessories like Pen drive or CDs etc. if required for the presentation.
FACE PAINTING
How difficult it is when it comes to designing a face and at this point it makes us think what genius God is as he masters in de-signing faces. Well, here we give you a chance to share the same platform as him with just a little twist! Design and paint the face which can describe anyone and anything Rules and Regulations The team comprises of 2 members belonging to the same institute (two painters and one model). Participants are required to bring their own material. A brief description should also be given in the form of write-up (approximately 50 words). The Participants will be given 30 minutes. Painting should be done by paintbrush and sponge only. All paintings should be free hands. No stamps, no stencils and no airbrush.
Life radiates itself from the spectrum of seven colors evoking different feelings and moods. Red, orange, and yellow make things look warm, even hot. They remind us of autumn. Green, blue and purple are cold colors. White makes things look lighter and black is the opposite. Lets see what the expressions and feelings you would like to portray when you get the ammunitions like brush and colors. Rules and Regulations The team comprises of 2 members belonging to the same institute Theme would be given on the spot. The time allotted for the event is 45 minutes.
The participants will have to carry their own material other than the chart papers. Use of mobile phone during this event will be prohibited. No helping images, pictures, portrait and the likes will be allowed. If found, the entries will be disqualified.
