Biblical prophecies in both the Old Testament as well as the New, warn and inform us that during the time period called The End Time(s) there will come on the scene an evil personage of a religious nature. Most of professing Christianity calls this person The Antichrist. Every so often they will label a political person or a person of notoriety as the Antichrist. But did you know that the Bible does not specifically call this end time evil personage The Antichrist? In this study we will put together all Biblical references to this person. This is what one may refer to as a conjectural type of study. By doing this we allow the Bible itself to explain to us the subject matter. This evil personage to come on the scene is a man. The Bible labels him The False Prophet and The Man of Sin. He is spoken of in the Books of Revelation and Daniel as well as by other apostolic writings. While he is not called the antichrist this man does represent the spirit of antichrist. This spirit of rebellion was already in existence during the time of the apostles and the early church history,-and is to continue right up until the Time of The End. In other words, - this attitude has been around for nearly two thousand years! And this Man of Sin is the chief head of this antichrist spirit movement. And this is a movement of professing Christianity that is in actually a counterfeit Christianity in opposition to the true Christianity of the Bible! Here we will look at the only places in scripture where the term antichrist is used by the Apostle John in his writings;-the Letters of John (see authors work on Johns Communications). Later Christ gave John the Book of Revelation and in that book John describes the individual as the False Prophet but does not use the term antichrist but his warnings from his Letters show that this evil personage has risen from this same spirit of antichrist. For many deceivers are gone forth into the world, even they that confess not that Jesus Christ cometh in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist. (2Jo.1:7 ERV) Little children, it is the last hour: and as ye heard that antichrist cometh, even now have there arisen many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last hour. (1Jo.2:18 ERV)

And every spirit that confesses not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, of which you have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. (1Jo.4:3 KJ2000) Who is a liar but whoever denies that Yeshua is The Messiah? Such a person is a false messiah. He who denies The Father denies also the Son. (1Jo.2:22 Aramaic Bible) What is this evil spirit of antichrist denying or not acknowledging? The above four verses discuss in a proper translation understanding that they deny that Christ today actually through the Spirit of the Father lives in His true followers! That is, - the correct translation should read that Christ is presently coming into the flesh (the living sons of God) of true Christians! True Christians begotten by the Father become the children of God,-and Christ through the spirit of God united with their human spirit now lives in them. While professing Christians have a worldly spirit of antichrist being deluded that they are true Christians. Also this heresy of antichrist limits God by making God into a trinity instead of acknowledging that God is a family relationship. They deny that God is a Father and in so doing deny the true message of Christ and therefore have neither the Father nor the Son. What did Jesus warn His followers of? For many shall come in my name, saying, I am the Christ, and they shall lead many astray. (Mat.24:5 Youngs) Yes they would come claiming to represent Christ and say that He is the Christ while deceiving many (many should be translated majority (see authors work on the Olivet prophecy). So the apostle John in his letters warns us about this false Christianity which is a spirit of antichrist. It is from this false religion that claims to represent Christ, - hence the spirit of antichrist, - that the False Prophet,-Man of Sin,-would arise from in the End Time! Thats where his roots will be grounded in a pseudo Christianity that opposes the true religion of the Bible. Now that the Bible itself explains just what antichrist is, let us begin to look at this coming evil personage more specifically. First let the Bible explain what sin is; Whosoever commits sin transgresses also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law . (1Jo.3:4 KJ2000) The Bible states then that this man called the Man of Sin breaks Gods Law,-the Ten Commandments (all or any one of them)! Paul in 2Thessalonians letter chapter 2 specifically mentions this Man of Sin; Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that Man of Sin be revealed, the son of perdition. (2Thes.2:3 AKJV) Translations of this verse differ in that some label this personage as the Man of Sin or of Lawlessness,-either meaning is correct as they describe one who breaks Gods Law! Paul in this chapter also adds more description of this Man of Sin and the antichrist spirit that motivates him and is part and parcel of this movement;1Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers and sisters, 2not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by the teaching allegedly from us whether by a prophecy or by word of mouth or by letterasserting that the day of the Lord has

already come. 3Dont let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness (sin) is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. 4He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in Gods temple, proclaiming himself to be God. 5Dont you remember that when I was with you I used to tell you these things? 6And now you know what is holding him back, so that he may be revealed at the proper time. 7For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way. 8And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming. 9The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, 10and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie 12and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness (2Thes.2:1-12 NIV) So by reading the above scriptures we see what Paul specifically says about this personage. We allow the Bible to explain itself without human interpretations added. Paul and the Bible explain that this antichrist movement started back in the days of the Apostles and the early Christian church,-and would continue up and into The End Times! This Man of Sin embodies the antichrist spirit (movement) which is rebellion against Gods Law and they masquerade as Christians however their god is actually satan the devil! The End Time apex of this movement will produce the Man of Sin,-who will deceive many into believing that he is a god and will stir up the worlds populace and armies to actually fight Christ at His return! Yes Paul lays out a very descriptive advanced news about this evil personage and the End Times period. Actually if this is the only warning that you ever hear about this personage it should be sufficient warning enough. Before we look into this same personage also called the False Prophet in the Book of Revelation we shall look at the false church organization that produces him;But I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophet and who teaches and leads my servants to practice immorality and to eat food sacrificed to idols. (Rev.2:20 ISV) God calls this false church represented as a woman Jezebel. There was another Jezebel in the Bible. She was the wife of King Ahab of Israel and she was behind persuading Ahab to put down the prophets of the true God of Israel and to promote the evil prophets (priests) of Baal worship! It can be truly said that no one else sold himself to practice what the LORD considered to be evil quite like the way Ahab did, because his wife Jezebel incited him. (1Kng.21:25 ISV) Do you see the allusion here between Jezebels false religion being behind the motivations of evil by her kingly husband Ahab? In Revelation God calls this great whore Jezebel because she falsely claims to be Christian but in actual fact is palming off Baal worship in substitution! This is

the spirit of antichrist from which the Man of Sin,-False Prophet,-will come from. The End Time False Prophet is a prophet of Baal! Remember in his letters the Apostle John warned us about the spirit of antichrist. Now in the Book of Revelation the Apostle specifically labels this man as The False Prophet (actually Jesus does this labeling). Now let us look at Johns description in Revelation passages that deal with this evil false prophet;Then I saw three impure spirits that looked like frogs; they came out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to wage war against the rider on the horse and his army. But the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who had performed the signs on its behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped its image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur.. And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They (i.e., the demons) will be tormented day and night for ever and ever. (Rev.16:13, 19:19-20, 20:10 NIV) The above scriptures quoted are the only ones that specifically refer by name to this evil antichrist personage as the Man of Sin and the False Prophet in the Bible. You can plainly see he is not labeled as The Antichrist though it is not wrong to attach this label to him because he embodies and represents the spirit of antichrist. The prophet Daniel refers to this End Time False Prophet as well in his writings pertaining to world governments from his time (starting in Babylonian captivity) down through time until the very climax of The End Time. It was revealed to Daniel that there would be four world ruling empires (of Gentile origins) until the establishment of Gods Kingdom upon the earth. This was revealed to Daniel in symbolic form using beasts to depict these governments. It was also revealed to Daniel the interpretation of these symbols and their future fulfillment in forthcoming history. In other words Daniel received history in advance! If you put together the chapters of Daniel 2, 7 & 8 along with the chapters of Revelation 13 & 17 along with Jesus Olivet Prophecy contained in Mat.24, Mrk.13 & Luk.21, - you will have a complete understanding of prophetic events leading up to and including The End Times. (See authors work on Olivet Prophecy and Prophetic Chart Daniel-Revelation) In Daniel chapter 7 the verses specific to this antichrist religion that culminate in the End Time evil personage are put together here;While I was thinking about the horns, there before me was another horn, a little one, which came up among them; and three of the first horns were uprooted before it. This horn had eyes like the eyes of a human being and a mouth that spoke boastfully I also wanted to know about the ten horns on its head and about the other horn that came up, before which three of them fellthe horn that looked more imposing than the others and that had eyes and a mouth that spoke boastfully. As I watched, this horn was waging war against the holy people and defeating them, until the Ancient of Days came and pronounced judgment in favor of the holy people of the Most High, and the time

came when they possessed the kingdom. The ten horns are ten kings who will come from this kingdom. After them another king will arise, different from the earlier ones; he will subdue three kings. He will speak against the Most High and oppress his holy people and try to change the set times and the laws. The holy people will be delivered into his hands for a time, times and half a time. But the court will sit, and his power will be taken away and completely destroyed forever. Then the sovereignty, power and greatness of all the kingdoms under heaven will be handed over to the holy people of the Most High. His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all rulers will worship and obey him. (Dan.7:8, 20-22, 24-27 NIV) The 4th world ruling empire revealed to Daniel was the Roman Empire which was to have 10 revivals, or resurrections, down through time right up until the End Time period which cumulates in Jesus return. The ten revivals are pictured as 10 horns. Daniel sees this little horn appear after the 3rd horn and this little horn rules the final seven revivals or horns. After the 3rd revival of the Roman Empire the following revivals were under the control of the Vatican thus making a new and diverse political entity,-the Holy Roman Empire! The popes crowned all future Emperors or Kings of the Holy Roman Empire. It became a system of church and state thus making it diverse from all other world ruling empires. This is what amazed Daniel in his vision! Times in the Bible refers to a Biblical calendar year consisting of 360 days. Days and years are interchangeable in Biblical prophecy;-a day could mean a year so 360 days could mean 360 years. (See Num.14:34, Ezk.4:5-6) Times, time and half a time equal 1,260 years as well as 1,260 days (42 months). History shows us that the Holy Roman Empire existed from Justinian in 554AD until Napoleon in 1814. That is 1,260 years! And Biblical prophecy tells us there will be one more final revival of this holy empire! But the final revival will only live a short time, -for 42 months or 1,260 days. The End Time period of this revival cumulates in the 42 month Great Tribulation. Did you notice in the above scripture from Daniel chapter 7 that this little horn changes times and laws and persecutes the holy people (i.e., true Christians)? What times and laws? Why Gods Sabbath and His 10 Commandments! They,-this false pseudo church Jezebel,-changed Gods Sabbath to the day of the sun,-SUNday! They substituted the Passover with Ishtar (Easter) sunrise services. They also worship images and the Queen of Heaven in the personage substitution of Mary (who had at least 6 other children after Jesus birth). This Great Whore deceives the people down through time and will cumulate in producing the evil antichrist Man of Sin,-the False Prophet. This evil personage will perform great miracles through the power of satan and proclaim that he is god. He will also use the civil power of the revived Holy Roman Empire headed by The Beast leader to persecute true Christians. A good read is Alexander Hislops book Two Babylons which details how true Christianity was replaced with the Babylonian Mystery religion. A careful examination of the Vaticans teachings will reveal that they break each and every one of the Ten Commandments.

When this False Prophet comes on the scene dont allow yourself to be deluded by him! He and the Beast will incite mankind to actually fight Christ when He returns. Watch world events taking place in light of Biblical prophecy and pray that you may be found worthy to escape all the evil that this false church and empire will do!
