RANGERS MANAGER RON WASHINGTON: On what was going on with Darvish in the 1st inning: He just had trouble with his command, mainly of the fastball, but after that first inning he settled in and put up five zeroes. He just had trouble getting started early. On how Darvishs finger held up: The finger held up well. Its just the same now as it was then. It didnt come into play at all tonight. On what he saw from Iwakuma: He had good command of his fastball. He had a pretty good split working tonight. He stayed off the fat part of our bats and out of the big part of the strike zone, and the opportunities we had, we just couldnt cash them in.
