e below tender and wish to invite for pre-qualification interested, experienced and reputable Companies specialized in providing similar services stated below to submit full electronic file including all requirements for inclusion in the bidders list to be invited to participate in the following tender: Tender Number 726 REMEDIATION & RECLAMATION OF PRODUCED WATER RETENTION PITS LOCATED AT ABU ATTIFEL FIELD. Scope of Work The bidder is required to survey produced water retention pits / emergency pits sites located in Abu Attifel Field and Remote Stations (R/ 82, OO, UU and KK Stations), to have first hand information of the pits / sites, estimate the quantity of contaminated sand / soil to be disposed for the closure and remediation of pits prior to submitting the proposal. Each pit must be emptied of produced water/fluids in a manner to assure protection of the soil, surface and groundwater. Thermal Desorption treatment Method as a remediation method to be used as per EGA directions. as & disposal methods for the treatment and disposal of produced water & contaminated soil /sand of the produced water pits, The bidder shall submit groundwater monitoring program to investigate groundwater under and around the retention pits Reclamation of the retention pits sites by Backfilling of the excavated pits with the treated soil or imported soils from surroundings (imported soil must have lab analysis and be compatible with the surrounding soil); The Contractor shell also, adheres to all of the Mellitah company for oil and gas standards, government regulations and industry practices where applicable. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Interested companies for the above tender must satisfy the minimum requirements and submit the required information below. Failure to submit any of the under listed documents will render automatic disqualification: The bidder must be registered with EGA and must have valid license. Experiences of similar contracts ( client name/project details) & references in Libya / Worldwide; The bidder shall have access to thermal description plant/facilities and submit complete detail of thermal description treatment facilities to be used for the treatment of project contaminated waste and its approval status from EGA; The bidder shall provide a list of his HSEQ management system )polices and procedures). Letter on Company's letterhead Addressed to the "Contract Department Manager" stating expression of interest on the respective tender. Valid copy of Company Registration in Libya, if already registered, or details of Branch Office, Representative or Agent in Libya and Tax department declaration. Company Profile with full details of similar contracts performed with relevant and verifiable Reference List of Clients where the works had been undertaken Literature/catalogue of the entire range of work /service/equipment and any additional information that will enhance the potential of the applicant /consortium. Submission of Financial Status document of the Company turnover for the last 3 years and the Organization Chart.
Two copies of the Prequalification Documents containing the above stated requirements shall be submitted in envelopes to companies not register in Mellitah vendors list or one copy for company registered and marked: Tender Number 726 REMEDIATION & RECLAMATION OF PRODUCED WATER RETENTION PITS LOCATED AT ABU ATTIFEL FIELD. Important Notes: Companies that participated in any of Mellitah Oil & Gas Co. previous tenders during 2010, are only requested to provide the following: a. Letter on Company's letterhead addressed to the "Contracts Department Manager" expressing interest on the respective tender. b. A list indicates the tenders participated during 2010. c. Support letters contain a list of similar projects / services performed by your company. The pre qualification request is not an invitation to tender. Company is neither committed nor obligated to undertake the work described above or to issue any call for tender or to include any respondent to this invitation or other company on any Bidders List or to award any form of contract. The Invitation to Tender (ITT) and full ITT Package will only be issued to qualified companies that have been pre-qualified. Company will not be responsible for whatsoever costs incurred for preparation and submission presented in response to this notice. Company shall deal only with authorized officers of the bidding companies and not through individuals or agents. Company shall not consider any pre-qualification request unless the foreign bidding companies submit proof of a partnership with a local company as stated in of the Qualifications and Requirements.
