The Golgi Apparatus is also known as the Golgi Complex and it is a very similar packing organelle to the Endoplasmic Reticulum. The organelle was named after an Italian scientist called Camillo Golgi. Typically, the organelle is a membrane-bound structure with only a single membrane. The Golgi Apparatus has many functions and jobs in the cell it inhabits.
Major Functions

Major Structures:

Location in the Cell:
It is close to the endoplasmic reticulum and the nucleus.
