Welcome to IBMT
IBMT is located in Surabaya, the capital city of East Java province. The second
largest city in Indonesia with a population of over four million people, Surabaya is
the gateway to the eastern part of the country. Large and small companies, non-
profit organizations as well as government institutions have made Surabaya the
center for business transactions in East Java. This is the real advantage for IBMT
students since these companies and institutions provide good resources for our
courses and for our work experience program. Students are exposed to real-world
problems when they visit the companies, conduct their research there, or
participate in the work experience or cooperative programs.
Furthermore, Surabaya is a modern city full of exciting places and events shopping
malls, centers for sport activities, cinemas, art galleries, and numerous
entertainment clubs. The city is strategically located nearby mountain sites, resorts,
and places that hold priceless cultural heritage as well as beautiful natural settings.
Some examples are the resorts at Selecta, Batu (Malang vicinity), Trawas, Tretes,
and Bromo Mountains, Karapan Sapi exhibition in Madura Island, and much more.
The campus is located at Jl. Raya Kupang Baru No. 8, in a peaceful district near
the downtown business and shopping area.
Visitors are welcome to visit the campus and discuss any questions they may have.
