The course is ideal for welding inspectors, welding engineers and supervisory staff: Requirements of 3.1 Welding Inspector: Three years as a welding inspector OR certified visual welding inspector for a minimum of 2 years OR welding instructor/welding foreman/ supervisor for a minimum of 5 years. The candidate has to provide the following documents All Qualification Certificates (i.e. 10th, Inter, Diploma & Degree etc.) Experience Certificates Two Pass Port Size Photos (Color) [white or blue back ground] Passport Copy OR other Govt. Photo ID copy Eye Vision Certificate Event Enrollment Form Latest CV Valid AWS-CWI Certificate (applicable only in case of - AWS-CWI to CSWIP 3.1 Bridge) Notice of CSWIP3.1 Examination Results (applicable - in case of Retest) Note: In the 3rd page of the Event Enrollment form we need the company seal and in the place of verifying signature box, sign of authorized signatory required. Seminar & Examination Fees of TWI, UK :

(1) For WIS 5 : CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector (Level 2) Seminar & Examination is GB Pound 1100 (Approximately Equivalent to INR 98,500)+Service Tax @ 12.36%. (2) For WIS 7 : AWS - CWI to CSWIP3.1 (Level 2) Bridge Seminar & Examination is GB pound 600 (Approx. Equivalent to INR 53,750) +Service Tax @ 12.36%. (3) For Retest (eligibility as per Cl. 4 of CSWIP-WI-6-92, Latest Edn.) of WIS5 / WIS 7 : Retest Exam. Fees is GB pound 190 (Approx. Equivalent to INR 17,100) + S. Tax @ 12.36 %. (4) Please, contact by phone / email for mode of payment. (5) Though fees applicable is either as per (1), (2) or (3),the final, Indian Rupees to, British Pound, Currency exchange rate for conversion (w. r. t. www.xe.com) would be payable, {if any} at the time of batch registration with TWI, which is approximately one week before the exam date, normally. Time allowed 45 Minutes. : Specific Welding Technology. 60 Multiple Choice Questions. Time allowed 90 Minutes. : Inspection of a plate butt weld to a code provided by the Test Centre. Time allowed 1hr 15 Minutes [Not applicable for AWS-CWI to CSWIP 3.1 Bridge examination] : Inspection of a Pipe Butt Weld to a code provided by the Test Centre. Time allowed 1hr 45 Minutes : Inspection of a set of destructive test samples to a code provided by the Test Centre (Two Macros, Two Bends or Two Fractures). Time allowed 45 Minutes
