Notes:

o There are three sections, Section-A , Section-B & Section-C.


o Section-A contains 10 questions of 1 marks each & Section-B contains 5 questions of 3
marks each & Section-C contains 5 questions of 5 marks each.
o Choices are given in some questions.
o Put proper & correct number of solutions of respective questions.
o Rough work has to be done in a separate column in answer sheets.
o Marks will be awarded when solutions are stepwise done. One word answers will be rejected.
o Work has to be done with ‘Blue’ ballpoint/ gel pen only & constructions with pencil.

SECTION - A 10 marks
(Do not spent more than 20 minutes on this section)*

Q1- 34 X 13 = 442. Identify product, multiplier & the multiplicand in the given equation.
Q2- Find the fraction of the black coloured portion & the uncoloured portion in the given figure-

(a) Find their L.C.M.
(b) Find their H.C.F.
(c) Check your answer by the identity :- L.C.M. X H.C.F. = Product of the two numbers.
Q12- A circle is drawn on rectangle ABCD(see figure) with BD or EB as radius of 7.5cm. If BD=DC &
AB is equal to three times EB i.e. AB=3 X EB. Then find the perimeter of this rectangle.

Q13- A Report says- “Country A has a population of over one crore, about half the population of
Country B”. Looking at the report, find out the population of Country B.

Q14- A tank can hold 62 liters of water. A bottle has capacity of 2 liters. How many 2 liters capacity
bottles are required to empty the tank?

(i) - 26 + 32 + 44
(ii) - 89 + 11 - 10
(iii) - 45 - 56 - 21

SECTION - C 25 marks
(Do not spent more than 60 minutes on this section)*

Q16- The total weight of 18 metal pieces was 3780 kg. The total weight of 16 metal pieces was 2990
kg. Then find the weight of 17th & 18th metal piece if only these metals are equal in weight.

Q17- A class-teacher collected Rs.15 from each child for class fund. There are 46 students in the class.
Money that is used was Rs.506. So the teacher decided to distribute the left-over money back
to children. Find the amount of money that each child will get.

Q18- Ritu is presently of age 13. She asks her father to tell his present age. His father replied- “Three
years before, I was triple the age of yours now. Three years after, I will be of age 45. Find out
the present age of Ritu’s father.

Q19- Sahil went to a club at 6:20pm from home and reached there at 6:35pm. If he takes 5 minutes for
traveling ½ km. Calculate the total distance of club to Sahil’s home.
Q20-Taxi charges consist of fixed charges and charges according to the distance travelled. Ravi

travelled 8.5km, find the cost he has to pay if the cost of travelling distance of 1cm. is 2
paise, and the fixed charges are Rs.250.

Solve the following problems-


(i) Cost of 7 dozen bananas is Rs.42. Then find the cost of 1 banana. 3 marks
(ii) A tank can hold 62 liters of water. A bottle has capacity of 2 liters. How many 2 liters capacity
bottles are required to empty the tank? 2 marks
