John Sequeira designs and develops all aspects of data driven, e-commerce web sites,

Sole developer of CRM/Accounting system data integration project using Microsoft ETL
toolset ( SSIS/SQL 2005/ASP.NET). Project included data dictionary reverse
engineering, automated load process, and web-based change reporting.

CRM Architect

2007-2008
NYC-based Real Estate Firm

Worked as lead technical architect on global CRM deployment to 12,000 users.


Responsibilities included requirements gathering and documentation, design of data
integration topology between CRM, Sharepoint and accounting system, lead team of 6
consultants and in-house staff to implement large-scale data migration, and customization
of CRM platform. All technologies on Microsoft platform ( ASP.NET, SQL Server,

Quickbase/Data Integration

Worked on web integration of Quickbase-hosted data for a variety of non-profit websites


and projects including

The website integration/mashup code delivered for these projects used the Quickbase
Javascript API, the .NET API, and Perl API, and direct HTTP access. The functionality
included straightforward table embedding as well as CSS/HTML theming using both
server-side code and Javascript/jQuery. Third-party geocoding mashups were
implemented with Google Docs and Google Maps. Additionally implemented special
custom-branded version of Quickbase.com website so that website visitors could use
Quickbase navigation tools without reimplementing functionality on third-party website.

.NET/C#/ASP.NET Lead Developer

Swimfish Consulting

Lead team developing financial-services-targeted sales-force-automation extension to


CRM product Lexis-Nexis InterAction using ASP.NET. Data sources included XML-
over-HTTP as well as SQL Server. Implemented heterogeneous (dataset,SQL,XML) data
access using LINQ, heavy use of client side processing with jQuery.

CRM Technical Lead

Lead architect for CRM platform selection on 2,500 user SugarCRM implementation.
Initial responsibilities included requirements gathering, RFP preparation, vendor due
diligence, RFP response scoring, and documentation. Once platform was chosen, lead
data integration efforts between CRM system and Oracle 10g-based accounting systems
using pl/sql packages.

Fortune 500 financial services firm. Project involved gathering business and
technical requirements for short and long term development plan by
interviewing both business groups and technical staff within company.
Responsible for assessing architectural implications of business needs and
reconciling those with existing technical infrastructure within company. Phase 2
of project involves implementation of development roadmap using the
Interwoven Teamsite Content Management System.

ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW/EXTRANET DEVELOPMENT

Adteractive

Initial engagement involved code review and write-up of a plan for achieving fault
tolerance using mirrored data centers and SQL Server log shipping. Also included
assessing the suitability of using MSSQL Server OLAP Services as a reporting platform
for clickstream warehousing application.

The project evolved into general purpose Transact-SQL query performance tuning as
well as new web application development for an extranet reporting application using
ASP/PerlScript.

ENTERPRISE APPLICATION INTEGRATION (EAI)

February 2002-2003
Financial Services Company

Lead architect/developer on application integration project linking NetAge CRM package


with Intraspect KM application. Implemented single-signon using Apache/mod_perl
rewriting reverse proxy, and 2-way data synchronization between Oracle and MS SQL
Server 2000 systems.

CLICKSTREAM DATA WAREHOUSING

Sole developer of clickstream analytic data warehousing application for high-traffic (50M
hits/mo) web site implemented on Microsoft Analysis Services and SQL Server 2000.
Application consisted of significant extraction, transform, and load (ETL) processes
written in Perl, VBS, and Data Transformation Services (DTS). Wrote object oriented
middle tier which transformed MDX queries into XML-based WDDX packets for display
by Cold Fusion user interface.

Project was completed to spec and ahead of schedule, with zero critical defects reported
by QA department. Responsibilities were then expanded to include refactoring a targeted
email marketing application and general web site/SQL performance tuning. After
reviewing web site architecture for scalability issues, recommended and prototyped an
Edge-Side Include (ESI) caching reverse proxy using an Apache/mod_perl to cache as
much of the site's dynamic content as possible.

Engagement included significant knowledge transfer (4+ weeks) consisting of both


informal mentoring, professional documentation for all custom software components. In
addition, conducted classroom-based training on Microsoft data warehouse technology
and methods for company's entire development staff.

ENTERPRISE APPLICATION INTEGRATION (EAI)

Conducted feasibility study concerning integration of Siebel SFA platform and Intraspect
document management solution for large financial services company. Study involved
reviewing documentation and interviewing vendor engineering staff to deliver vision
document of potential application integration scenarios. 30+ page deliverable included
deployment diagrams and project estimates, and considered the impact of corporate
security policies, directory integration, and replication topologies.
