It is APAVE policy to ensure a safe , healthy and environmental friendly workplace for all employees. We have implemented HSE program which addresses fields of work where hazards and risks are all identified together with measures for eliminating or putting under control of known hazards and risks . APAVE management demonstrates clearly identified commitment to the concept that safety is a responsibility of all employees, from senior management to the temporary worker and committed resources to ensure safety on all our job sites. APAVE HSE goal is to maintain ZERO level of number of accidents and injuries, environmental accidents and that requires cooperation in all safety , health and environmental matters between employees, and management. Only through this joint effort we can maintain an excellent safety record. All APAVE employees are responsible for cooperation with all aspects of this safety, health& environment program, including compliance with all rules and regulations from our clients for continuously practicing HSE while on the job. The HSE manager, Quality manager , project managers, head of sectors and supervisors have our full support in enforcing the provisions of this policy. Training and education are major components of the safety programme. Education by which is meant understanding of the nature of the hazard and risk and approaches to risk reduction. Through training and education all APAVE employees have increased awareness of risks and hazards which allows to them to recognize such conditions and to apply measures for elimination or control . Each employee is trained about HSE according to procedure established in APAVE and regularly knowledge is updated through courses held according to training plan. Through this education and training employees understand also effects of exposures to all agents used in process as well as impact on environment . According to procedure for EMERGENCY SITUATIONS employees are educated and trained how to react and which actions to undertake to minimize the losses and to minimize impact on the environment once an accident has occurred. At the start of each job Tool Box Talks are held together with clients representatives to address all issues of Safety, Health and Environment which can occur during work. Through MEASUREMENT , CONTROL & ANALYSIS of information and records APAVE employees are making reduction of near misses ,accidents as well as environmental accidents. APAVEs management also is ready to conduct IDENTIFICATION OF THE COST OF LOSSES. This include measurement of number of incidents, severity of incident and direct cost of damages , injuries and illnesses , loss in supervisory time, loss of productive time during accident investigation and clean up, retraining of replaced workers and amount of overtime to meet client demands. APAVEs employees must report all near misses , injuries , accidents , environmental accidents to the responsible supervisor on site according to procedure for INCIDENT REPORTING AND INVESTIGATION. All HSE incidents are subject to management investigation and control , on base of R-CAT Technique which includes written description of the events that occurred before and after as well as assessment of the factors that led to the accident. Root Cause Analysis Report ends with recommendations , which measures to undertake to prevent this incidents from happening again . APAVEs management , after reviewing of the incident report and lessons learned , all information is shared everywhere within company.

Identifying and ranking of environmental aspects with measures for controlling as well as hazard identification and risk assessment , APAVEs employees are conducting in accordance to PROCEDURES FOR IDENTIFYING OF ENVIRONMENTAL ASPECTS AND HAZARD IDENTIFICATION AND RISK ASSESSMENT. Removing of environmental aspect or eliminating of hazards and risks is done by engineering, substitution or modification. In some cases , environmental aspects and hazards and risks are controlled by imposing of continuous preventive measures. APAVEs employees are trained for post accident scenario MEDICAL TREATMENT. Employees are familiarized with procedure for first aid and emergency reaction in case of accident to reduce actual severity of injury of a range of less serious accident. Conclusion: APAVEs successful HSE PROACTIVE PREVENTION SAFETY CULTURE FOR ELIMINATING AND REDUCING INCIDENTS is conceptual plan to reduce the environmental aspects and risks on both incidents and severity. Management is responsible to set the goals, providing resources , establishing means of measuring progress towards those goals and taking corrective and preventive actions when this progress is unsatisfactory. Contribution for safer and environmental friendly working place is done by all employees with integrated approach.
