    Part 1.

    Part 2. Appendix- The Appendix is located under the small intestine at the beginning of the large intestine. Gallbladder- The Gallbladder is located almost on top of the liver on the right of your body. Rectum- The Rectum is at the bottom of the digestive system after the large intestine, but before the anal canal. Liver- The Liver is located on the right side of your body. It is right next to the stomach. Descending colon- located in the upper left part of the abdomen. Anal canal- The Anal Canal is the last part of the digestive system it is located after the rectum.

    Small intestine- The Small Intestine is located all wrapped up directly under the stomach and large intestine. Pancreas- The Pancreas is located under the right part of the stomach Transverse colon- is located on the upper large intestine right under the stomach. Parotid salivary gland- Is located above the esophagus. Esophagus- Is located after pharynx and reaches down to the stomach. Ascending colon- The Ascending Colon is located at the beginning of the large intestine right next to the appendix Stomach- The Stomach is located in the middle to the upper left of your abdomen. Pharynx- Is located inside your mouth right before the esophagus. To learn my Digestive System I draw pictures of it!

    Part 4. Propulsion- Is a force to propel in a certain direction. In our situation the esophagus propels food to the stomach. Absorption- Is when food molecules are transferred from the gastrointestinal tract to circulation. Chemical Digestion- Chemical breakdown of food into simpler compounds. Carbohydrates are broken down in to simple sugars, Proteins are broken down to Amino acids and fats become fatty acids and glycerol. Mechanical Digestion- Is a physical digestion. Chewing is Mechanical Digestion.
