Mangala Neerajanam Archana
Light camphor, show it to the Goddess. While ringing bell with left Take a flower; chant one name of the Goddess; offer the flower at the
hand, say: feet of the Goddess:

Na tatra suryo bhaati, na chandra taarakam 1. Om Saraswatyey namaha


Nemaa vidyutp bhaanti kuthoyam agnihi 2. Om Mahaabhadraayey namaha

Light the agarbatti and small lamp; show it to the Goddess; ring the
Pradakshina Namaskaram bell with the left hand, and say:

Turn around in the same spot three times in a clockwise direction with Om Shri Saraswatyey namaha
hands together in prayer, saying: Dhupam Aaghraapayaami

Yaani kaani cha paapaani janmaantara kritaani cha Om Shri Saraswatyey namaha
Thaani thaani vinashyanti pradakshina padey padey Deepam Darshayaami

Prostrate to the Goddess


Naivedyam Drop two spoonfuls of water on the right side of the plate, saying:

Keep the prasad in a plate in front of the Goddess. Put a tulsi leaf on Nivedanan antaram aachamaniyam samarpayaami
it. Close your eyes, put your hands together, and say the mantra:
Drop two spoonfuls of water on the right side of the plate, saying:
Om bhur bhuvasuvaha, tat savitur varenyam
Bhargo devasya dhimahi, dhiyo yo nah prachodayaat Madhyey Madhyey amrita paaniyam samarpayaami

Take two spoonfuls of water in your right hand and sprinkle drops of Drop two spoonfuls of water on the right side of the plate, saying:

Make gesture of offering to the Goddess, saying: Aachamaniyam samarpayaami

Om pranaaya svaha Offer tulsi leaves or flowers at the feet of the Goddess after saying:
