PATUMAHOES GOT TALENT (PGT) PARTICIPATION TERMS & CONDITIONS: In participating in the PGT, you are deemed to have read, understood and agreed to be bound by the following terms and conditions: Eligibility: a. All performers are limited to children and teens ages 5 18 yrs old. First group: ages 5 -12 and second group: ages 13 18 yrs old. b. Entries are open to individuals and groups that play music, sing and/or dance or other. c. Entrants may enter the talent quest with 1 item per person or group. d. As this will be a family audience, performances must not contain inappropriate lyrics, themes or attire, and must not utilise fire or other harmful equipment to accompany their performance. e. All entrants must supply PGT, along with the registration form, an audio/audio-visual clip of their music, song and/or dance to authenticate the individual or groups performance, and a self addressed stamped envelope to send back any audition material. PGT reserves the right to accept/reject any application to perform at the PGT. f. All accepted entries will be contacted by one of the organizers by 14th of March to provide a photograph and short biography about themselves or their group to be used by PGT for promotional purposes (i.e., internet, radio, newspapers, free to air and pay television and promotional CD/DVD). ! "#$%&$'()*#+! a. All performances must be no longer than 3 minutes in duration per item with an extra allowable bumpin and bump-out time of 2 minutes in addition to the performance time. In total - 5 minutes per item. b. Patumahoes Got Talent will endeavor to organise the stage in accordance to the preferences of the entrant(s). c. All performers are required to be at the performance venue no later than 30 minutes prior to the commencement of their performance. d. Performers must begin on the time specified. e. If any performer is prevented from arriving by their allocated time for performance they must contact the organizer (Setita Millar @ 021733189) no later than two hours prior to their scheduled performance. f. All performances will have the use of a quality microphone and sound equipment. It is the responsibility of the performer(s) to bring all other equipment to accompany their performance, and provide a copy of their music on CD (if applicable with appropriate labeling on disc) prior to the performance start time. g. If youd like to have a sound check/practice, practice time is between 10am- 12.00noon on Saturday 22 March 2014 at 12.00 noon only by arrangement with PGT organizers. Publicity: a. PGT reserves the right to use the entrants performance name and image/s for publicity purposes before, during and after the Talent Quest Competition on and/or in magazines, newspapers, free to air and pay television, radio and promotional cd/dvd. b. Entrants also acknowledge that the publicity materials may be provided to the prize provider for the purposes of promotional display. c. Performers are permitted to publicize their participation in the PGT within reason on their personal websites but are refrained from expressing negative or misleading information about the competition and overall Quest.

Personal Information and Privacy: a. All personal information supplied by entrants when entering this Talent Quest will be used by PGT in accordance with its Privacy Policy. The use of such information will be for the sole purpose of registering as such information is required for the Patumahoes Got Talent and will thus remain confidential. Obligations: a. The organisers are under no obligation to provide storage space of any sort for the duration of the Talent Quest. b. The organisers will not accept responsibility for any goods or equipment that may be lost, damaged or destroyed in any way inside or outside the hours of the Talent Quest competition. c. Any goods or equipment left anywhere in the venues by the performer(s) will not be the responsibility of the organisers or Patumahoe Community Church. It is the responsibility of the performers to look after their own possessions. Judging: a. Patumahoes Got Talent will be judged by a panel of independent judges. The decision by the judges is final, including the allocation of prizes, and no discussion/correspondence will be entered into. At no time are performers/representatives of entrants to approach the judges or organisers about the results. b. Winners will be announced at the conclusion of event on Saturday 22nd March 2014 c. The judging criteria will involve the rewarding of points for such things as enthusiasm, talent, entertainment value, presentation, dress, and overall ability in bringing the Genre to life. Points will be deducted for running over the time limit and entertainment not fitting within the parameters set out in this application. Prize(s) and Prize Conditions: a. All prize are in New Zealand dollars. b. Prize values are to be given in cash cheques: First group: (Ages 5 12) i. 1st = $75 ii. 2nd = $50 iii. 3rd = $25 Second group: (Ages 13 18) i. 1st = $200 ii. 2nd = $100 iii. 3rd = $50 AGREEMENT DECLARATIONS: I/we hereby warrant that I/we, have truthfully and accurately completed all forms relating to the Patumahoes Got Talent. I/we, have not withheld any information requested of me and that by signing this Agreement and supplying the answers and information requested of me by PGT. I/we, understand and agree to the conditions of entry, and have in no way been misleading or untruthful. Furthermore, I/we acknowledge that PGT reserves the right exercisable at any time at its sole discretion to disqualify me from the Talent Quest should I/we, at any stage omit to supplying information reasonably requested of me or supply untruthful, inaccurate or misleading personal details or information, break the Rules or otherwise be in breach of the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
