Collaborated closely with CEO/founder on development of the corporate strategy. 2011 - 2012 Chief Financial Officer - VANTAGE DELUXE TRAVEL SERVICES, INC. - Boston, MA (privately held) A direct marketing and premier international travel tour co mpany for mature travelers . Developed new automated billing system and invoice design, wh ich significantly improved the accuracy and clarity of the invoices, reducing support calls and increasing customer satisfaction. Chief Financial Officer - CENTRA SOFTWARE, INC. - Lexington, MA (publicly held; acquired by Saba Soft ware) A leading provider of on premise and SaaS hosted eLearning software and services for real-t ime co llaborat ion. Oversaw all aspects of the companys strategic planning and built entire F&A team to support the company through its various business phases, from private (p re-revenues) to publicly held. Co mpleted an $80 million IPO in 2000, drove the acquisition efforts for purchasing a 45-person private software company and managed the sale of the company two separate times. Set up foreign operations to facilitate the companys international expansion to 26% of revenues and negotiated a $1 million exclusivity rights agreement with a Japanese distributor. Drafted 10-Q and 10-K reports, delivered investor pitches, and executed a successful six-month, post IPO, investor road show that increased the market value of the company by $450 million.
