Over the last 17 years Andrew (Aged 47) has carved a unique position as an independent executive search & trouble-shooting consultant and has built a solid track record of achievement in successfully completing a diverse range of senior search assignments for a wide array of blue chip clients. Since 1998, focussed mainly on the Media & Entertainment markets in the UK and Internationally working with th major UK & Global Media & Entertainment brands including: BBC, Five (UKs 5 Terrestrial TV Channel), EMI Music, MTV Europe, All3Media, talkback Thames, Mentorn Media, Codemasters, Telewest (now Virgin Media), APTN, Walt Disney, Discovery Europe, Virgin Radio, Classic FM & Zodiak Entertainment (TV Division of De Agostini) Personally managed all aspects of the Executive Search process including: Business Development: ID of target client companies & pitching to new clients eg) HR,CEOs,Chm Building & managing strategic relationships with new and existing clients & candidates Research Strategy & Identification, Sourcing & Networking (UK/Europe/Middle East/USA) Candidate interviews & short-list candidate appraisals/360 degree references Negotiations with clients & successful candidates on salary and remuneration package

Other consulting services provided to clients include confidential trouble-shooting across a wide variety of rd projects including advising on problematic 3 party search assignments, M&A due diligence and VC start-ups. In 1993, left Heidrick & Struggles Intl (H&S) one of the worlds oldest & largest Executive Search firms to set up as an independent executive recruiter and Co-Founder of a record label.

Andrew has been on the BBCs preferred suppliers list for Executive Search Agencies for the last 7 years and has personally worked on a wide variety of UK & International search assignments for senior management, creatives, programming/editorial, strategic, multiplatform, digital, marketing, commercial & operational roles for: BBC Vision, BBC Vision Productions, BBC Vision Commissioning, BBC Factual & Learning, BBC.com, BBC Commercial Agency, BBC World Service, BBC Global News, BBC Scotland, BBC Manchester, BBC Multiplatform Innovation & Development Studios and BBC New York Productions. In early 2009 successfully placed the Director, Digital Content for bbc.com/news a commercial web site with Advertisers/Sponsors not available in the UK. In May 2010, our successful candidate was promoted to become the Controller of Digital and Technology, BBC Global News and will oversee BBC Global News's strategy for web and mobile-based services. On the Media Regulatory & Policy side in 2010 worked with the BBC on search for the Head of Supplier Management, Commissioning a role focussed on the BBCs supply policy with the independent production sector worth 1.4bn to the UK economy & the BBCs external relationships with PACT/OFCOM & DCMS. In 2001, worked on the search that placed the incumbent CEO at PACT (Producers Alliance for Cinema & Television) and in 2005 worked with the then OFCOM CEO (now Lord Stephen Carter) and successfully placed the incumbent Head of Multi Media and further back worked on the search to find the CEO the Digital Radio Development Bureau (DRDB). EDUCATION & EARLY CAREER


Graduating in 1985 with a Bsc. (Hons) 2.1 in Genetics from Queen Mary College (University of London). Andrew joined the London office of Heidrick & Struggles International Inc in 1989 as a Research Consultant working initially in the Healthcare, Pharmaceutical & Biotechnology sectors. After 2 years promoted to Associate Consultant and worked across a wide number of industries with multinational clients in the UK, Europe and USA engaged on a broad range of CEO, Managing Director, and Board Level assignments working out of H&S offices in London, Paris and New York. Key searches successfully completed include CEO CIGA Immobiliare, the Aga Khans real estate business for the 5 Star CIGA hotel chain (Italy) and CEO County Nat West (New York) and Finance Director for British Biotechnology plc. Industry sectors covered at H&S included: Telecoms | IT & Technology Start-Ups | Hotels & Real Estate | Banking & Financial Services | Retail | FMCG | Airlines | Leisure & Hospitality | Newspapers | Oil & Gas| Book/Magazine Publishing |Private Healthcare Insurance and Private Hospitals. One of Andrews most successful candidates to-date was researched and head-hunted by him at H&S in 1991, as the first CEO & Founder of a start-up called Advanced RISC Microprocessors in Cambridge, UK. Sir Robin Saxby is now Ex Executive Chairman of ARM Holdings plc (T/O 300M 2009) and was awarded a Knighthood in the 2002 New Year Honours for services to the Information Technology industry. After leaving H&S in 1993 Andrew became the co-founder of a London based independent record label. The Copasetic label achieved 4 Top 75 hits in the UK Charts and 1st single release in 1994 sold over 1 Million copies in 15 international territories. Additional responsibilities included: Raising Corporate Financing via private investors in Hong Kong, A&R, Artist Management, TV Promotion and Intl licensing.
