    Description

    Properties

    The type 0080 piston seal is suitable for double


    acting applications on single piece pistons. The
    design of the seal incorporates anti-extrusion rigs
    and integral support bushes, to accommodate radial
    side loads.

    The piston seal type 0080 is fitted to seal pressure


    on both sides of the piston. The angled bushes
    act as guide elements.

    Applications
    The type 0080 piston is suitable foermost
    applications, where a single piece piston design is
    used. It is ideal foe applications in mobile hydraulics
    (constuction/ earth moving machinery) and medium
    duty service. The elastomeric sealing element
    ensures a minimum flow of media across the sealing
    lip and this makes the type 0080 particularly suitable
    for load holding applications.
