If so, please contact Pastor Reid so he can include a message of your choice in the weekly bulletin. The church gives thanks to Wilbur and Sandi for the do- nation of 40 hymnals to the congregation. This gives assurance we will always be able to sing praises to our Lord in worship on Sunday. The words to songs will still be printed in the bulletin as needed. Thank You to Wilbur & Sandi Gordon!
This will be a great day in the life and witness of Faith Christian Church! During worship we will be celebrating the dedication of Syler Boone (Robin Boones granddaughter)! Then after worship the CLT is making arrangements for a congregational cookout of hotdogs and hamburgers. The church is encouraged to bring desserts and side dishes. Read, meditate, and pray over this passage of scripture: And do this, understanding the present time: The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. Romans 13:11-12 Operation Wake Up is soon to be introduced to the congregation. The theme is based on the above passage in Romans. This has been welling up in my spirit over the recent weeks and months. The church figures very prominently in these last days before we are raptured up. What has been is past what is to come is wrapped around the promises of God therefore lets make the most of what we have in the present time. We have the Word of God we have the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit as we pray we have a Lord who lived, died, and was raised on the third day who now sits at the right hand of our Heavenly Father waiting for the word to gather his children home! Petty politics, personal preferences and differences, and all the other distractions Satan is putting out there must be seen for what they are efforts that are not going to make a difference at the end of the day. We have the precious resources of time, talents, and energy that are better used advancing the kingdom of our Lord. I believe the time has come for the church to wake up the alarm has sounded and the snooze button has expired! Lets make the most of what we have depend on God to supply what is needed and resolve right now to give our Lord all the glory and praise for what is about to be accomplished! Sincerely, Pastor Reid We wish you a very Happy Day! Happy Birthday! 7 Mary Reagan 15 Sharon Madden 20 Joyce Moore 25 Laurin Tejeda 31 Debbie Langley
