Students Permit Minimum age to apply is 16 y.o. Can only drive if accompanied in the vehicle by a person with a Non Professional / Professional Drivers License.
Non Professional Drivers License Minimum age to apply is 17 y.o. The license is limited only to privately owned vehicles.
Professional Drivers License Minimum age to apply is 18 y.o. Can drive Public Utility Vehicles Paid to drive privately owned vehicles.

Regulations & Fines

Driving with a fake License o Php 500.00 Fine o Unable to apply for a Drivers License for six months.

If apprehended and the license has been confiscated, the license will be returned and the case will be cleared after 15 days.

Parking
A car is considered parked if the car is at a complete stop for certain duration and the engine is switched off.
If the car is parked uphill beside the curb, the wheels of the cur should turn away from the curb.

Lanes & Lines
Either on the Highway or on the Expressway, slow vehicles should always stay on the right lane.

Intersections
When approaching an intersection with a stop sign, one should stop and continue on with care.
One must signal not less than 30 meters to the intersection before turning left or right
It is more dangerous to turn left than to turn right at an intersection, therefore one must be vigilant and alert of the vehicles coming from the left and right side.
In an intersection with a non- functioning traffic light, the car from the right has the right of way, and the car last to arrive should give way.
