Now I want to tell you about an important issue
in Lancaster County. The Williams Company
wants to build a large new fracking pipeline
through Lancaster County. The proposed route
will use eminent domain to go through the
Lancaster Farm Trust and private farmland,
past schools, and through townships and
neighborhoods along the Susquehanna River.
The communities along the pipeline path
strongly oppose this pipeline. Joe Pitts strongly
supports this pipeline project, and has taken
over $15,000 in campaign contributions from
the Williams Company. But Tom Houghton
strongly opposes the project, and will fight
against it in Congress. Having heard this, if the
election for Congress were held today, who
would you vote for, or are you undecided?
Joe Pitts ............................................ 41%
Tom Houghton .................................... 41%
Undecided ......................................... 18%
