1. Introduction
Chairman welcomed all to the meeting. Without further delay the Chairman instructs
PU to proceed with the briefing by Ir. Tan Kee Beng to JSK

Survey Works
Briefing
PU forwarded the hardcopy of the survey strip drawings to SEB and JSK.
The survey strip width is about 10m wide throughout the alignment and limited to an
area of 9.05 Ha
The Alignment is approximately 9.36 km long beginning from the Proposed Astana
132kV Substation
From the Substation the alignment continues through Jalan Tun Mohamad
Sallahuddin to Jalan Kampung Gersik (RHS).
Jalan Kampung Gersik is one of the critical parts of the survey due to limited space
and potential obstructions on site.
From Jalan Kampung Gersik, the alignment continues to Jalan Bako. Before
passing TYTs Residence, the alignment will be on the LHS of the road. After that,
the alignment will continue on the RHS of the road.
The survey strip continues to Jalan Bako and passing the causeway.
JSK informed that as per scope of works, 9 sections are proposed for the survey
sounding works which are 8 cross sections and 1 long profile.
The lowest and the flood level at the causeway to be provided by the Surveyor.
From the Bako Causeway, the survey strip continues on the RHS of Jalan Bako
until Chainage 9+133 km where the cable alignment will cross Jalan Bako and go
into the junction in front of the existing Sejingkat Substation.
The cable alignment will then continue through junction and ends behind the
Sejingkat substation.

Enquiries and Clarification
SEB asked what if the survey strip coincides with peoples land? JSK answered that
they will offset PU survey strip drawing in addition to the information they have. If
there is any part of the survey strip coincides with peoples land, JSK will inform
SEB and PU.

2. Briefing of the
Survey Works
(Cont)
PU informed that some of the data provided in the utility plan does not tally
with its location on site. Therefore some of the location of the services in the
drawing is plotted based on measurement on site.
SEB asked whether everything shown in the Consultants cross section
drawings needs to be pick up by JSK. PU informed that other than survey
works within the survey strip, JSK should pick up the road centerline and all
visible service between the road edge and the drain.
SEB informed that JSK should pickup drain invert and its wall or sides.
JSK informed that picking up the existing features on site is difficult to do
compared to surveying as per strip indicated in the drawing.
JSK informed that they will start the survey works on 17 September.
SEB advice that the commencement date of the survey works must be put in
JSKS EOT application.
PU to give to surveyor the Auto CAD version of the survey strip drawing.
Surveyor to provide the highest and lowest flood level at the causeway.

3. Other Matters
SEB informed that without the data of the existing Substation on site it will be
hard for the Consultant to provide accurate design and hard for the tenderer to
quote.
Therefore PU to provide a list of information needed from SEB for their
feedback.
SEB asked for the Architects advise whether any change of building orientation
on an existing site requires approval from SPA or not.
PU to submit the proposal for S.I. works for the projects to SEB as soon as
possible.
SEB requested PU Specification for HDD works which can be used for the
Project.
