In some aspect we could say that the highlight on energy
supply shortage sometimes give a positive side to emphasize
the importance of electricity not only in our economy but in
our daily lives, he said.
He added that a household could save automatically 10
percent by not watching a teleserye in just an hour.
A 10 percent saving from household consumption can already help prevent the possibility of energy crisis, he said.
The 4th consumer information market and exhibit highlighted this years celebration of the Consumer Welfare Month
with DOE as the lead agency.
Leyte DTI director Desiderio P. Belas Jr. said that the annual activity held every October by virtue of Proclamation
1098, series of 1997 aims to properly disseminate sound
consumer information, encourage dialogue and cooperation
