(1) In case the examination fee is paid through credit/debit cards, the candidate will need to
pay an additional processing charge as following:
Credit Card: 1.20% of the examination fee plus the service tax as applicable.
Debit Card: 0.75% + taxes for examination fee up to Rs. 2000 and 1% + taxes for
examination fee more than Rs. 2000.
(2) Application fee once paid will not be refunded (full or partial) under any circumstances.
JEE Main 2015 Exam Pattern
Candidates must read and understand JEE Main 2015 Exam Pattern to know about various
aspects of the exam and question paper. The following are the highlight the exam pattern:
Mode: JEE Main Paper- 1 will be held in online as well as offline modes. Paper-2 will be
PCM, Drawing and Aptitude Test.
Exam duration: It will be of 3 hours with no privilege for extra time under any
circumstances.
Subjects and Syllabus: Syllabus will cover concepts of Physics, Chemistry and
Mathematics.
Questions: Total questions will be 90 and candidates will have to solve all. Question will
of Objective Type.
Marking Scheme: It will be of 360 marks in total. For each correct answer 4 marks will
be allotted and for each wrong 1 mark will be deducted.
CBSE will issue JEE Main 2015 result in two parts in its official website. Candidates have to
enter roll number and application number to check their result. JEE Main 2015 result will
state candidates performance in the written exam.
JEE Main 2015 result classification is as below:
Part-I: JEE Main 2015 Score
Part-I states marks obtained by the candidate in the exam. It will be published around May
2015.
Part-II: JEE Main 2015 AIR (All India Rank)
Part- II of result will state all India rank and categorical rank of the candidate in JEE Main
2015. It will be issued later, most probably till July 2015.
This Result of JEE Main coupled with class XII marks will be considered for admissions
through JEE Main 2015, into various colleges and courses.
