Intravitreal injection for inducing Posterior Vitreous Detachment in Retinopathy
subjects VRT : PVD-301.
2. A Randomized, Double Masked, Multicenter, Parallel Group Phase-3
Study of Efficacy, Safety and Tolerability of repeated doses of Intravitreal VEGF
Trap in subjects of Nonvascular Age Related Macular Degeneration -View 2
Study.
3. A Randomized Double Masked, Parallel group, Multicenter Dopse
finding comparison of the Safety and Efficacy of ASI-001A 0.5g/day and ASI4

001B 0.2g/day Fluocinolone Acetonide Intravitreal inserts to sham injection in

Responsible for managing protocols, recruitment, patient screening, patient
consent forms and follow up management with investigator.
Maintain source documentation and drug accountabity, SAEs reporting,
maintaing site master file.
Responsible for communication and shipping to central laboratory.

Elicit and comprehend from a patient in English, Hindi and Tamil
language: the complaints, the course of illness and other relevant
information.
Carry out the detailed ophthalmologic evaluation as well as General
Physical & Systemic examination of all eye outpatients, inpatients and
those presenting in emergency department.
Decide the routine and the most relevant investigations for each
particular case
Interpret the findings of my clinical examination and to correlate them
with the outcome of various tests & investigations carried out; thus
helping me to decide the most probable diagnosis.
Decide the best management strategy for the case and discuss it with the
patient.
Provide the medical management to all eye patients requiring the same
e.g. deciding the drug of choice, its dosage, route & frequency of
administration, after the drug interactions and side-effects have been
given due consideration.
Carry out the minor procedures e.g. syringing, superficial foreign body
removal, and chalazion I&C etc.
Independently carry out EYE surgeries e.g. conventional extra capsular
cataract extraction with IOL implantation, small incision cataract
extraction with IOL, trabeculectomy, strabismus surgery, entropion
correction, ptosis correction etc.

Perform few surgical procedures under supervision only e.g. scleral


buckling, dacrocystorhinostomy.
Manage all these patients in their post-operative period; anticipate the
common and unusual complications of these surgeries and their
management.
Decide when the case is beyond my skills to manage and to take help of
or refer to my professional colleagues and senior consultants in the best
interest of the patient.
Worked as Junior resident in Kalawati Saran Children Speciality
Hospital, with exposure to Paediatric ophthalmology cases like
strabismus, retinopathy of prematurity screening and laser treatment of
same and their follow up.
