WARNING: If there is any evidence of fire within the
engine during shutdown, proceed IMMEDIATELY with DRY
MOTORING Procedures

CAUTION: When the Condition Lever is moved aft to the


CUTOFF/FEATHER position, the prop should go into the
FEATHER position and quickly (20 to 30 seconds) come to a
stop. If the prop continues to windmill (failed to feather) a
feathering failure has occurred. Investigate and correct the
problem prior to the next flight.
