itis8,secondspeedwillhave16notesandthirdspeedwillhave32notesinoneavarta.

DeshadiTala:ManyofSriThyagarajascompositionsareindeshaditala.Thisconsists
ofonenishabdakriya(Kriyameansaction.Nishabdakriyaissilentaction)Thelyrics start
after three aksharas in nishabdakriya E.g. Brovabarama in Bahudari,Bantureethikolu in
Hamsanadham are examples of Deshadi.The lyrics start after two aksharas in
