Dear Sir/ Madam,
RE: Letter of Intent
I am writing to inform you of my intention to enroll into your prestigious College for the Medical
Assistant program which I read from your advertising leaflet.
I am current working part-time in a clinic and involved in the daily administration. I enjoy
meeting the people and the work in this medical line. Hence, I would like to pursue a course such
as a Medical Assistant program to help me pursue a more rewarding career in the medical arena.
I am only a high school graduate with some odd job experience. I graduated from high school 3
years ago. Attached are a copy of my last transcript for your perusal and a copy of reference from my
current work place. My current employer is very supportive of my intention for further myself in this
field.
I hope you will consider my intention favorably and inform me quickly of admission procedures.
Thank you.
Yours truly,
Annie Myers

Dear Sirs
RE: Letter of intent for Graduate School
I am currently working as a legal assistant in an established law firm in Detroit.
Having been exposed to the many intriguing legal cases at work, I am highly intrigued to be more
involved in this field. Hence, I am writing to state my intention to further my studies at your
prestigious law school in Detroit. Many of my esteemed seniors at work highly recommend your
graduate law school.
I was a business degree graduate from New York University with 4 years of legal experience
after 2 years of small business exposure in the retail industry.
I would be delighted if you can offer me a placement in your law program at the next intake.
Thank you.
Yours sincerely,
Kent Stiller
