Football Academy Proposal

1.

in Sports complex Anand

Objective :-

The main aim of the SAG academy would be to produce a quality player for
Gujarat and Indian national team and I-league club. So that Gujarat name
will raise at the national and international level in teams of football game.
The concept of the academy to create a pathway for the 14 to19 years
player for his better future. All players are also part Gujarat state teams.
2.

Selection Procedure :-

As we want to create a national or international level academy so we cant

be restricted our self around the Gujarat only for that reason we scout or
select the 30% players from the other football dominating state so the our
players may cope up there levels up to them. To recognize a talent is not an
easy job. Certain criteria are easy to recognize, such as mastering of the ball,
quality of dribbling and passing, way of controlling the ball, heading, etc. But
in the end it is also a matter of having a nose for talents. we would like to
propose a multi-tiered scouting system connecting all levels of the football
pyramid. We need to identify organized tournaments and events at various
levels which can then form the basis of talent scouting framework. Scouting
should also be done from the well-known youth tournaments that currently
exist in Gujarat Kelmehakumb, Inter district school tournament, inter district
federation age group tournament and for the national level player scouting
such as, Subroto- Cup and the School National Games conducted by the
School Games Federation of India (SGFI) and association festival or age
