Description : Vehar and Tulsi lake are the sources for raw water for the treatment plant at Vehar and
Tulsi respectively. Both water treatment plant facing problem of treated water in terms of quality and
quantity. This may be because of old structure, Leakages and non functional of mechanical units. It is
recommended to demolish the existing plant and construct a plant with conventional water treatment
process with plate or tube settler clarifier followed by rapid sand filtration unit.
