Four Noble Truths

The teachings on The Four Noble Truths are among the very first of many teachings that Shakyamuni Buddha gave in Sarnath, India,
seven weeks after attaining enlightenment in Bodhgaya. These teachings are known to contain the essence of the Buddhist path,
regardless of the tradition one follows. The Four Noble Truths comprise of The Truths of Suffering, The Cause of Suffering, The
Cessation of Suffering and The Path to the Cessation of Suffering. By gaining deeper understanding of the Four Noble Truths, we can
generate wisdom in our own mind and end our suffering and problems.

Thousand-armed Chenrezig Empowerment

Thousand-armed Chenrezig is the embodiment of the compassion of the buddhas and bodhisattvas of the three times. Chenrezig
manifests in different forms in order to benefit sentient beings in accordance with their various faculties and karmic affinities. Various
incarnations include a being with one face and two arms, one face and four arms, or one with eleven faces and one thousand arms and
eyes. He uses skillful means to free countless sentient beings from Samsara and aid them to quickly attain ultimate enlightenment. It is
said in the scriptures that if one recites the Mantra of Chenrezig even one time with a pure altruistic mind then one eon of negative karma
is purified. After receiving the formal empowerment, one is able to follow the ritual Sadhana, visualizing oneself as the deity.

Teachings on Prostration
In Buddhism, prostration is a way to show reverence to the Three Jewels: namely the Buddha, Dharma and Sangha. There are many
benefits associated with prostration, it not only can purify negativities and accumulate positive merits, but also creates a cause for one to
achieve a favorable rebirth with a perfect body.

Lama Tsong Khapa Empowerment

Guru Yoga is an integral part of a daily spiritual practice of a Tibetan Buddhist. The essence of this practice is the cultivation of the
perception of one's own mind as indivisible from the nature of the Guru's mind. Guru Yoga has the power to move us at a very deep level,
as guru is the source of all the benefits, the foundation of all the good qualities and the root of the blessing from the lineage. Lama Tsong
Khapa Guru Yoga is connected to the Gelug tradition and the teachings of its founder Lama Tsong Khapa, who is revered to be the
emanations of the Buddha of Compassion, Avalokiteshvara, the Buddha of Wisdom, Manjushri, and the Buddha of Power or Skillful
Means, Vajrapani. Therefore, this empowerment enables one to embark the profound practice of Lama Tsong Khapa Guru Yoga.
