History

Process & Instrumentation Valve Equipment for Oil & Gas.

Fujikin has been developing technology for over 80 years.

In May 1930,
's forerunner, Kojima Shouten, was founded at Itachibori in Osaka city, Japan by the former president, Junji Kojima.
We have a 80-years history of manufacturing super high precision flow control equipment, as well as specific purpose valves.

May: We enter the business of

pipe materials, machine tools
and wholesaling of metal parts.
Our main business consists of
exporting to mainland China
and meeting domestic demand.
Company
founder and
first president,
Junji Kojima

January: A new engineering

department is created to cater to
surging demand for valve cocks.
Meanwhile, the company acquires the
Shigino Plant in Joto Ward, Osaka,
and operations are launched. Products
are sold under the Carp trademark.

January: Fujishima Koki

Kabushikigaisha, a corporate body, is
established, to continue with the
business.
* Fujishima Koki Kabushikigaisha
continues to do business as the Osaka
Plumbing Sanitary Trade Assoc. in the
Ebie district of Fukushima Ward,
Osaka. The company is a special agent
of ours and is specially contracted to
pipe-equipment and materials makers.

September: The late Toshi

Kojima succeeds company
founder Junji
Kojima after his
sudden
passing.

June: CarpectTM, a total

check valve is developed.

aluminum, is successfully
commercialized.

February: The labor-saving fittings,

dubbled LS Fittings, that doesnt
require sealant is developed.
November: A new factory is
constructed in Higashi Osaka City to
respond to a surge in orders. The
Shigino and Hikone plants are sold,
and company facilities are to be
concentrated in the new location,
where new construction booms.
December: Though sales in the
Kanto region had been handled by an
agent, the job is taken over by the
Tokyo Head Office, which opens in the
Hachijobori district of Chuo Ward, in
response to requests from customers.
