Thank you for choosing the survival slingshot. It is compact and versatile and small
enough to always have with you,. It can hold many key items to help you when you
need it. The innovative watertight chamber is designed to allow for pre-loaded containers to be organized and housed inside for any desired mission. Matches, fishing
line, arrow points, shot ammo, wire saws, water purification and an endless array of
items.
Shooting directions: Pull back with the fork 45 to 90 degrees from upright and
release. Release shot smoothly and use a consistent style for best results and
precision. Always wear eye-protection. Always inspect slingshot bands for
wear before each shot as they become old and worn over time.
Customization. The taped holes in the front accessory mount and the side rails
use two #4 40 3/8 fasteners. The side mounts or rail system can accept a standard scope mount base. Various lights and laser sights can be attached to the
side mount bases.
The top photo shown is configured with a our custom bracket with a Trophy
Ridge Whisker Biscuit. The large 5/16 hole at bottom of mount allows mounting a fishing reel seat or an archery stabilizer. The arm holding the Whisker
Biscuit can be quickly raised or lowered with the lower, smaller wing nut. Do
not attempt to shoot anything but arrows through whicker biscuit. It is
only for arrows and not a sight for regular ammunition.
When using archery split rings to shoot arrows, move the rings down and
away before shooting regular ammunition.
The handle is designed to be watertight, however, o-rings can fail and mistakes can be made in use. We recommend using water proof matches whenever possible and or to use the internal clear tubes also to contain the matches
and fire starter material as an extra measure of redundancy
NOTE: Survival Slingshots have a lifetime warranty except for slingshot bands
or improper use and will be replaced if requested via phone or email.
Warning! 250+ Yard range. Not a toy, adult supervision is highly

recommended for minors. Always wear eye protection. Ammunition may
ricochet so spectators should also wear eye protection. In addition, be sure
that area where shooting will occur is clear of people and property. Never
shoot at people or property as slingshots can injure people or harm property.
Slingshots can be dangerous if used in a careless manner. Inspect bands before each shot for wear and brittleness. Replace damaged bands immediately. The survival slingshot will accept most commercial bands or check
our website for higher powered bands.

Survival Slingshot Assembly Instructions
Archery Ring Set Up

The Archery Ring system use 1.25 split rings and strong rubber bands. To configure, double or triple loop rubber
bands on yoke and back through themselves in a simple knot, then attach through key ring as you would a key. Repeat
on other side. Make sure the ring is horizontal so that the arrows can fly through without restriction. Simply move the
rings and bands down and away (usually in front) before shooting regular slingshot ammunition or rocks. Do not
attempt to shoot through the rings with any object besides an arrow. To shoot an arrow using the Archery Rings,
insert the arrow through the ring and then grasp the arrow with the pouch, like you would with a bow. Draw back and
shoot like a regular bow.
How to install the new bands:

Dip the band ends into approximately 1/8 inch of ordinary rubbing alcohol that does not contain glycerin.
Slip the bands onto the prong ends ( be sure both bands are slipped on at equal levels)
Immediately (before the alcohol can dry ) turn the entire one inch of rubber that has been slipped
onto the prongs until the leather pouch is adjusted properly and sits straight.
***** Do not shoot or pull backwards on the power bands for 24 hours to allow the alcohol to dry. If no
alcohol is available, water can be used as well.
Whisker Biscuit Archery Mount
The Whisker Biscuit Archery Mount is designed to shoot Full Size arrows when locked
in the upward position as shown on top photo on the first page. To install, first attach
the Whisker Biscuit to the rectangular arm with the two square holes. The larger square
hole is 5/16 and uses the larger of the two carriage bolts. Insert the 5/16 carriage bolt
thru the slot on the Whisker biscuit. Then attach to larger square hole on the rectangular
bracket using a washer and wing nut as shown on top right photo. Lastly, attach bracket
to front face of slingshot as seen in first page photograph using the four #4 40 pitch 3/8
machine screws. The larger hole at bottom of the main bracket is for other archery
accessories. For example, it will accept bow stabilizers to dampen vibrations and
counter balance shooting force. It will also allow to mount an fishing reel seat for bow
fishing. In addition, for bow fishing, the standard Trophy Ridge Whisker biscuit can be
replaced with one specifically for bow fishing. The Survival Slingshot aluminum accessory bracket is designed to work with other typical arrow guides and whisker biscuits
for other manufacturers.
Tactical Light Set Up

The two side rails on the Survival Slingshot are made to accept standard Scope
Mount Bases. Simply attach the Mount Base to either side of the slingshot with
the two supplier #4 40 3/8 inch machine screws. The tactical light is a once inch
diameter LED flashlight that is mounted in a standard Weaver Scope Mount. We
use Weaver quad mount or regular 1. The Archery Complete and Slingshot with
Tactical Light use the Weaver 48016 Top Mount Base. If you want to customize
on your own, you can use a variety of standard mount bases.
The Weaver 48045, 48035, 48054 all work with #4 40 3/8 inch machine
Tactical LED light attached to
screws. Others can be uses with #4 40 3/16 and some need washers to fit.

There are many types of scope mount bases and scope rings to choose from. Pick
the one that suits your taste and budget. More powerful and more costly flashlights can also work but be sure they fit the Scope Rings that you purchase. If

you want a very secure grip, apply Loctite Threadlocker Blue 242 Nut and
Base
Bolt Locker to tightly secure mount base to Slingshot.
Survival Slingshot Laser Instructions

The Laser attachment is mounted using two #4-40 fasteners and weaver mount base attached to the aluminum bracket. A
standard Marlin 336 base is used in this application. The left photo shows the laser mounted to the laser bracket. It is
attached on the same 1/4 screw, washer and wing nut as show on the picture on the right. The bracket allows for
elevation adjustment but it is preferred to use the elevation and windage adjustment with the provided hex wrenches. The
laser should be sighted according to your shooting style. The factory setup is set for a shooting with the slingshot in a
near horizontal position like the one of our TV sponsors in the lower right picture. Lasers are somewhat fragile so take
care not to drop it and avoid getting it wet. Do not point at anyone's eyes or at people operating vehicles and always
follow normal safety precautions for lasers of this power level. If you need more power, you can purchase higher
powered red or green lasers that can use the same mount. However, be sure that they are not tall enough to be in the line
of fire from the slingshot as it could cause a ricochet or damage your laser.

One key feature of this product is the ability to customize it for personal preference and requirements. The Survival Slingshot has
three mounting points as part of our rail system as shown in the top left graphic. The photo on the bottom left shows the Archery
model configured with a dedicated bow string and Trophy Ridge Whisker Biscuit. To offset the 45# pull band release, an archery
stabilizer is attached to the 5/16 hole that is standard on our archery bracket. The bottom right shows a slingshot with a laser and
tactical light mounted on the two side mounts. The bottom middle picture is set up for bow fishing with an AMS arrow rest and reel
seat. The standard archery mounts 5/16 hole is the correct size for a fishing reel seat to be added as shown. It is also relatively easy
to make your own mount for a whisker biscuit on the front face. Use 1 1/2 inch wide 1/8 thick aluminum extruded L bracket that is
available at the local hardware store. The drawing image below shows the dimensions of the front face for the hole pattern. An easy
way to drill the holes accurately is to use thick paper stock and make indentations by pressing it into the face of the slingshot to duplicate the hole pattern. Then you can use a punch to indent the surface of the aluminum L bracket to drill your holes. You can shape
it like the one we offer. You can bend this in a normal vice like ours on the third page. Whickers Biscuits use 5/16 hardware and
you would need a vertical arm that has two holes like ours on page 3. Our holes are square to use carriage bolts so no tools are
needed but round will work too. A hack saw makes it easy to cut the pieces but band saws and dremels are easier. If you want to be
more high tech, there is an excellent free or low cost 2D CAD tool called Draftsight by Dassault Systemes that is very comparable to
AutoCAD. With that you can design and draw whatever you need. The side rail mounts will accommodate most rifle scope mount
bases and scope rings which allows you to attach virtually any accessory. Fasteners can be bought at any hardware store but will depend on which mount base you use.
