I am currently working in a temporary role as an administration assistant within Shoosmiths Solicitors
recoveries services group. While also awaiting final results for the final year of my university degree, I am
hoping to gain permanent, full-time employment in a customer service role.

Experience
Andrews Fish & Chips Emporium, Northampton

October 2010 June 2014

I have worked part-time at two different Andrews takeaway restaurants as an all-round crew member, a
job entailing various factors of the business, from handling payments to waiting tables, cooking food to
washing dishes and maintaining the workplace. I feel that my experience at Andrews has helped to
develop my confidence and knowledge of customer service. The experience has also added to my ability to
work as part of a team, as well as improved my initiative when working independently. A reference from
my manager is available on request.

Present

I worked as an administrative assistant for the firm as part of a full-time temporary project group with the
target of reducing a backlog of administrative work during one of the firms busy periods. This entailed predialing customers and debt management companies, inputting customer data into spreadsheets, printing
and sending letters among other responsibilities. I feel that my time at the firm has greatly improved my
I.T. and customer care skills, and the firm has since offered me the same role over three months in the
summer of 2015, in which I am currently still employed.

Education
St. Peters Independent School, Northampton

At secondary school, I achieved 9 GCSEs, including Maths and English (both at grade A), and developed
other useful skills such as ICT (B), Food and Nutrition (A) and Spanish (A).

At sixth form, I achieved 3 full A-levels English Language (C), Psychology (B) and Sociology (B) as well
as three AS-levels. These qualifications gained me entry to my first choice of university at Coventry.

I recently completed my Bachelor of Science in Music Technology degree, however I am currently awaiting
the resolution of an administration error to receive confirmation of my graduation.

Skills & Interests

I am very flexible and organised, and capable of efficiently prioritising my own workload and feel that,
whether working as part of a team or within a role that requires greater self-reliance and autonomy, I
would be a valuable asset to any business that employs me.
I have participated in a number of bands, which I feel demonstrates my teamwork and leadership skills.
My experience working at Andrews Fish & Chip Emporium and Shoosmiths have (through very different
means) engaged my customer services skills in dealing with customers queries and issues calmly,

confidently and effectively, both over the phone and face-to-face. I am also experienced in computing and
IT, and feel especially confident using specialist office software due to my time spent working at
Shoosmiths.
Finally, I am known to be a friendly, approachable person and get along well with fellow employees,
employers and customers alike.
