When I first commenced employment at Principal Packaging over 27 years ago, I was
initially employed as a Reel Hand on a 7 colour Flexographic Press for 14 years. My
main duties involved - setting up machine press, working closely with the main operator
and taking the initiative and responsibility on an individual basis.
From the above position I was then promoted to Gravure Press, as Reel Hand come
second man due to cutbacks in personnel. I worked on the Gravure Press for 4 years, after
this I was then promoted to Print Laminator Operator, where we produced foil to a very
high quality and standard for many large major companies, including - Anchor, St. Ivel,
Dairy Crest and many more.

I have also received training and possess the ability to colour match to a very high.
standard for the above companies

I also have been trained in and have the skills to run re-wind, embossing and slitting
machines.

My last employment which has just closed down was with Paxar (Avery Dennison)
involves laminating RFID sycurity chips in M&S price tickets.I have also been trained in
our service department to run thermal and laser printers which add the price and barcode
to the tickets.
