Trejo, famous for
his toughguy roles,
has voiced
support for
Danny Trejo concerned
students
whose classmates took
part in a huge brawl at a
Los Angeles high school.
Trejo, who lives in the
area, encouraged Sylmar
High School administrators to listen to students worries about their
safety and suggestions for
a more peaceful campus.
Video of the Monday
fight shows some 40 students involved. It took a
dozen officers to break up.
Some students said the
brawl involved tensions
between black and Latino
students and gangs.
Others said the racial
element was overblown.

A bright yellow, uniquely shaped guitar used by


Prince to perform such
tunes as Cream and
Gett Off is going up for
auction.
Heritage Auctions is
selling one of the late
artists yellow cloud
electric guitars beginning
June 24 with an opening
bid of $30,000. The guitar was one of several
custom guitars Prince
used in the 1980s and
90s.
Other Prince items at
the Beverly Hills auction
will include record sales
awards and an original
demo tape featuring the
songs Just as Long as
Were Together, My
Love Is Forever and
Jelly Jam.

out Westside sale
In a celebrity connection straight outta the
Westside, actor and martial artist Jean-Claude Van
Damme sold his home in
Marina del Rey to rapperactor Ice Cube for
$7.25 million.
The custom three-story
with cityscape and ocean
views came up for sale a
year ago for about $10 million and was more recently
priced at $7.949 million,
records show. The Muscles from Brussels, as he
is nicknamed, bought the
house four years ago for
$6 million. Built in 2011,
the 7,574-square-foot home
contains knockout features:
a home theater, a gym and
a poured concrete-andglass wine cellar.
A glass-enclosed staircase and an elevator connect the levels.

Prince was found dead
