1.1 Introduction of Organization
Dainik Bhaskar ( ) is an Indian Hindi-language daily newspaper that
is now the largest circulated daily newspaper of India.It is owned by Dainik
Bhaskar Group (D B Corp Ltd.), the largest Print Media Company of India.
Started in Bhopal in 1958, it expanded in 1983 with the launch of Dainik
Bhaskar's Indore edition. Today, Dainik Bhaskar is present in 12 states with 40
editions.
Dainik Bhaskar has 5 editions in Madhya Pradesh, 4 editions in Chattisgarh, 12
editions in Rajasthan, 3 editions in Haryana, 4 editions in Punjab, 7 editions in
Bihar and Jharkhand and 1 edition each in Chandigarh, HP, Uttarakhand,
Jammu and Kashmir and New Delhi.
Dainik Bhaskar was declared the world's 4th largest circulated daily newspaper
in 2013-14
Dainik Bhaskar Group is Indias largest newspaper group. With 6 newspapers
and 62 editions, the group has total readership of nearly 4.4 Crore across 14
states. The group has a strong presence in radio business. 94.3 MY FM, the
radio brand of the group is the 4th largest radio network in India, with presence
in 30 cities across 7 states. The digital arm of group, DB Digital has 1.2 billion
collective page-views with 40 million unique visitors across its portals in four
languages, Hindi, Gujarati, English and Marathi.

1.2 History and Evolution


Dainik Bhaskar was launched in 1956 to fulfill the need for a Hindi language
daily newspaper. It launched under the name Subah Savere in Bhopal and Good
Morning India in Gwalior. In 1957, the paper was renamed Bhaskar Samachar.

In 1958, it was renamed Dainik Bhaskar, meaning "Rising Sun." This, along
with its rising sun graphic, was meant to represent a bright future.

ORGANISATION STRUCTURE

Departmentation:
The job functions of the employees in the organization are divided amongst
them and combined in logical ways. Employees with related functions usually
share a common work area and constitute a work unit. Departments are
therefore constituted. The main departments of Rajasthan Patrika are:

A). EDITORIAL DEPARTMENT:


The editorial department, headed by editor, is responsible for, collection of
news, selection of news and features, editing of news and features,
interpretation of areas etc.

B).ADVERTISING DEPARTMENT:
Its main function include collection of advertisements.

C). PRINTING AND PROCESSING (MACHINE) DEPARTMENT

This department looks after all work related with printing including installation
of machines, plant layout, composing, processing, loading, maintenance of
machines etc.
D). FINANCE DEPARTMENT:
The foremost function of the finance department is financial forecasting and
planning, it involves forecasting for short term and long term funds
E). ACCOUNTING DEPARTMENT: The newspapers accounting department
performs the function of, general accounting work, department recordkeeping,
cost finding and budgeting.

Listing of DB Corp Public Issue on Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). The listing
opened at Rs. 250 i.e. with a margin of approx 19% for retail investor, rose to
Rs. 275 in the day, that finally closed at Rs. 265.90 i.e. at a margin of approx.
27% for the retail investor. The DB Corp Pubic Issue was one of the best
listings of 2009 and 2010 after the revival of the Primary Markets. The DB Corp
