a- Form:

As + adjective + as
+ noun/pronoun/clause
As + adverb +as

b- Use:
- We use as as to say that two things are the same in some way:
Shes as old as my grandmother
The cake is as good as the ice-cream
- We can use object pronouns (me, you, him, etc.) after as, especially
in an informal style:
I dont paint as well as him
In a formal style, we use subject + verb:
I dont paint as well as he does
- We can use as as in positive sentences and in questions:
Mary is as tall as Ann
Can you send the fax as soon as possible?
- After not, we can use as as or so as :
The bus is not as/so quick as the underground ( = the
underground is quicker)
A taxi driver is not as/so rich as a prime minister (= a prime
minister is richer)
But we can never use so as in positive sentences or in questions.
