The document discusses a Korean Air 747-400 aircraft approaching Kai Tak Airport in Hong Kong. It describes the landing procedure as requiring a lot of pilot skill. Specifically, when reaching the medium ILS marker, which is close to a mountain, the pilot must immediately turn right to avoid losing sight of the runway. This turn needs to be performed at a low altitude of 400-600 feet, making it a challenging maneuver that demands great piloting skills.

Korean Air 747-400 approach
At Kai Tak Hong Kong. China
Well, that is a very beautiful procedure to be seen by all pilots; at least it
is for me. It is a 747-400 of Korean Air approaching Kai Tak airport in Hong Kong; It is a procedure that demands a lot of skill of the pilot because during a landing we have an aid called ILS and in this aid there are three markers: an outer marker, medium marker and inner marker in the case of Kai Tak airport, the medium marker is close to a mountain when the pilot is approaching the medium marker, he immediately must turn right so as not to lose the runway axis and all of this takes place at low height approximately between 400 and 600 feet. That is the reason why the pilot needs a great deal of skills to perform it.
