twice every year to showcase all the important machineries

related to garmneting field. The fair had stalls from all the
many of the renowed companies from the apparel production
field.companies from almost all sort of spheres were found
mark their presence at gartex.it was on of the best B2B fairs.
Also few of the companies had working machines installed at
the display which made it lucid for the visitors.the GARTEX was

the show will provide suppliers and manufacturers of apparel
fabrics, trimmings, embellishments, accessories and related
products/services a platform to exhibit their merchandise to
discerning buyers from across the globe.

GARTEX served as a great platform for showcasing the mordern

technology and B2B bussinesses. It was also a great experience
for the students to learn the new technology and see it
practically.
MODERN PRINTING TECHNOLOGY

The companies showcased mordern technologies for the
printing purpose.This worked as a major solution for the today,s
needs. There was a live show casing of the heat transfer
printing, sublimation printing , flat bed printing , laser marking
on the garments etc.
Heat transfer printing here the printing was done on the
fabric with the help of the thermal energy. The print OHP
sheet containing the print was placed on the fabric and
them with a certain amount of heat an pressure was applied
to transfer the print on to the fabric.
Sublimation printing the printing is done on the paper first
and then transferred to the fabric
Laser marking on the garments - the garments were
printed /given effects using the laser.
Below are the major companies that revealed the above
printing techniques :PRINT 360 A huge company offering solution for the printing
on garment efficiently.they had heat trasfer printing ,
sublimation printing , print and cut printing , flat bed printing
solutions. The machines could beatifully create the effect on
the fabric/garment like prints.patterns,damaged effect motifs
etc
MIMAKI Offered a high speed textile printing machine
MM700-1800B which could run at a speed of 800 sqm/hr with
1.8 m width.it had features like max. productivity , exellent
reliability , highly accurate in drop system , four textile ink
types.
KIETH ELECTRONICS PVT LTD showed up with improved
models(CMA1309-B-A) of laser cutting machines it had 10 %
increased productivity and far better efficiency than the older
versions.
HOMER displayed digital textile printer HM1800 with features

like high sped and high resolution industrial prints
180sqm/hr,suitability for 24 X 7 operation,4 color,6color and 8
color compatibility.
Daksh enterprises displayed digital sublimation textile printer
DE-180TS with top speed of 80 sqm/hr
Cheran - introduced heat transfer and fusing machine which
used thermo heat transverse printing.

Laces are the decorative items used in the fabrics for making
the fabric more asthetically appealing . They work as allied
items and are value addition to the fabrics .

KC FASHION PACK PVT LTD produces crochet laces , knitted
cotton and nylon laces ,knitted raschel jacquard fabrics eyelet
laces guipure laces/strips with a capacity of - cotton crochet

CUT AND PLOT MACHINES

cut and plot machines are used to plot the pattern on
the fabric and cut it.these machines are prominent
enough to trace a precise pattern and cut it efficiently .
MIMAKI CG 160FXII , CG 130FXII , CG 75FXII are the thre new

models introduced by MIMAKI . The FXII series has the ability to
high speed continuous crop mark detection , engineered head
unit, half cut mechnism etc with the sheet width of 1040 mm
to 1880 mm with cutting speed of 100 cm/sec
APC-130 Is a 2 X 1 cut and plot machine with perforation
along dotted lines , over cut, savings of cuttin pattern, front
loading , paper basket the max width of the machine is 1240
mm with a great speed of 60cms/sec
CHISING MACHINE
Chising is quilting + embroidering. The machine was aimed
at mutlineedle quilting of the fabric .it could make a pattern of
repeat size 2or its multiple giving the fabric a stron three
dimensional effect which coul be used for beddings,bags and
automotives.CSHX series high speed multithread quilting and
embroidery machine was at the display with a running rate of
200 to 800 rpm.
STITCHING MACHINES
FUCEN - displayed mutliple sewing machines at the counter.it
had single stitch lock stitch machine to leather stitching
machines.had complete solutions for the industrial purPose .it
had eyeholing machine to fancy stitching machine which could
be used to create a beautiful pattern.
MANNEQUIN DRESS FORMS ETC

Mannequin and the dress forms are integral part of the
garment industry .
CONCEPT MANNEQUINS displayed all the major types of the
dress forms and mannequins.They are the manufacturers of
eco friendly mannequines, dress forms,wooden hangers steam
