2) Procedure of making a

terracotta Plaque
Once, our country was very famous for
artwork on terracotta plaque. Terracotta
plaque found in paharpur and moynamoti
Buddhist shrine are testimony of thousand
years old work of art in the same way in
bogras mohasthangar, Bager hats shat
gambuj mosque, kushumba mosque of
Nowgaon, and kanto jiues temple of
Dinajpur are of three hundred years of
gradual testimony of art work of art work of
ancient tradition.
Arts and Craft (ch-7)
The new tool we will need is only two 1cm
thick long wooden rollers that will make
work easier. Draw the picture as much big
as you will draw on terracotta plaque. Copy
the picture including the frame by carbon
paper on a thin paper. Now take a 5-6cm
diametre sized soft clay. By rolling or hollow
bamboo tube make this flattered clay into a
roti of 1cm clay slab or plaque. Keep the
picture we draw in a paper in front of our

eyes. When we will set each part of the body

on plaque according to the print at that time
we will make wet with water, will make
scratch, and create mud by a sharp knife of
bamboo. After setting it we will give a little
bit pressure so that no air bubble remains
under it. After making the shape perfect we
will make a frame around the picture by
attaching 1cm high 2cm wide clay. By
making a scratches we can also show
weaving on the basket.
Thus the picture on terracotta plaque has
finished We can pass a thread through the
holes of tumblers and hang it on the wall or
by keep it standing leaning on something. It
has to be dried slowly by keeping in shadow
is already known. If we touch it on wet hand
or if it gets wet wet it will get crack.
Arts and crafts (ch-7)
If we have plotters near our place we get
the things fired by the plotters that we
made. Otherwise we can fire them by sawdust or rice bran
