Telenor Mobile account was not growing as per expectation set by OTC Easypaisa as Market
leader even there were a number o competitors has enter into the market but OTC remains as
market leader.
Research show that we have two type of customers, extrinsically motivator and intrinsically
motivator. We performed cluster analysis to recognize our actual target customer.

Intrinsically Motivated:
These people have high tendency and willingness to take risk and they always want to try new
things. These type of early adopters will work as promoters for us. As in this industry word of
mouth also plays an important role so we should focus on early adopters.
Extrinsically Motivated:
These type of people are not comfortable in using mobile accounts and also they do not have
enough knowledge about the product. We have to put more efforts on education of these
customers.
Exhibit 2 shows that we should also focus on workers who are away from home and want to send
domestic remittance with an income level of 20-30K per month is our TG.
