Rules and Regulations:

1) Eligibility of participation

1.1 - This tournament is opened to all volleyball players in Malaysia.

1.2 - A team is composed to 12 players only (minimum 7 players).

1.3 - Each player only can be registered to represent one team only.

1.4 State & National Players for the year of 2008, 2009 & 2010 are not allowed to participate in

this competition.

2) Entry Fee

2.1 - Entry fee is RM 300 per team (Ringgit Malaysia Three Hundred Only).

2.2 - All payments are to be made through the receiver and bank account as below before

closing date.

3) Closing Date

3.1 - 30th JUNE 2010 (Wednesday)

4) Registration & Drawing of Lots

4.1 - Numbers of participating team are limited to:

Mixed Team - Max 32 teams based on first come first serve basis.

4.2 - All teams captain or their representative is invited to attend the drawing lots of teams on

Venue: Volleyball Court of Titiwangsa Sports Complex

4.3 Drawing will be made by referee if there is no representative turns up after 7.45 am.

5) Documents and entry fees to be submitted before closing date

5.1 Entry fee (RM 300).

5.2 - Confirmation of entry fees (send us account no or email bank in receipt).

6) Classification System

6.1 Winning Team : 2 points

Losing Team : 1 point

7) Competition Scoring System


7.1 - Each group will consists of 4 teams (total of 8 groups), playing against each other in the
preliminary round. For preliminary round, the match should be played to15 points per game and
the match will be decided in best of three system.

7.2 - Eight teams (one team winner of each group) will qualify for quarterfinal. For quarterfinal, the
match should be played to 21 points per game and the match will be decided in best of three
system.

7.3 - Four teams will qualify for semifinal. For semifinal, the match should be played to 25 points
per game and the match will be decided in best of three system.

7.4 - Two teams will qualify for final. For final, the match should be played to 25 points per game
and the match will be decided in best of five system.

7.5 - Third & fourth placing game will be played for the two losing teams in semifinal. The match
should be played to 21 points in best of three system.

8) Walk Over

9.1 - Each team must be at the court 15 minutes before the match starts.

9.2 - Team which was 10 minutes late after the scheduled match without a valid reason shall be
considered given a walk over to the opponent team.

9) Awards

Champion : RM 900.00 + 12 Medals + 1 Hamper

1st Runner-up : RM 600.00 + 12 Medals + 1 Hamper

2nd Runner-up : RM 300.00 + 12 Medals + 1 Hamper

3rd Runner-up : 1 Hamper

10) General Issues


10.1 - The organizer reserves the right to invite any qualified team to participate in this
tournament when there is a shortage of team to participate when the deadline of registration is
over.

10.2 - The Organizer reserves the right to decide the result during an unforeseen circumstance in
the tournament and the result is final.

10.3- The Organizer reserves the right to change any rules and regulations when needed. Any
changes of rules and regulations shall be informed as soon as possible or before the start of the
first match of the tournament.

10.4 - Each match shall be commenced according to the scheduled time. However, the organizer
reserves the right to change the match sequence and match time when needed. All the changes
shall be informed to each Team Captain as soon as possible.

10.5 - The Organizing Committee and its appointed officials shall not be held responsible for any
accident or lost of persona belonging during the tournament.
