1. What is Salvation?

- Salvation is Gods way of forgiving sin and providing a means for man to receive eternal life
now and in heaven. Salvation, by definition, means to be delivered from evil. In this sense,
salvation is deliverance from sin and its penalty. On the cross, Jesus Christ made the sacrifice for
mans sin and its penalty, which is death. The Bible says, Not through the blood of goats and
calves, but through His own blood, He entered the holy place once for all, having obtained
eternal redemption (Heb. 9:12).
*Salvation is deliverance from danger or suffering. To save is to deliver or protect. The word
salvation concerns an eternal, spiritual deliverance. We are saved from wrath, that is, from
Gods judgment of sin. Our sin has separated us from God, and the consequence of sin is death.
Salvation refers to our deliverance from the consequence of sin and therefore involves the
removal of sin. Only God can remove sin and deliver us from sins penalty. God has rescued us
through Christ, it was Jesus death on the cross and subsequent resurrection that achieved our
salvation. Scripture is clear that salvation is the gracious, undeserved gift of God and is only
available through faith in Jesus Christ.
All in all, Salvation is The deliverance, by the grace of God, from eternal punishment for sin
which is granted to those who accept by faith Gods conditions of repentance and faith in the
Lord Jesus. Salvation is available in Jesus alone and is dependent on God alone for provision,
assurance, and security.

*God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. The one who has the Son has this
eternal life; the one who does not have the Son of God does not have this eternal life. 1 John
5:11-12
This passage tells us that God has given us eternal life and this life is in His Son, Jesus Christ. In
other words, the way to possess eternal life is to possess Gods Son. That through Jesus Christ he
is the way the truth and the light that will leads to the eternal life and to the hands of our creator
God.
*For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on
him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only
begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16.
God loves us so much that He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to be born on earth and die on a cross.
We are all sinners and the Bible says the consequence of sin is death, eternal separation from
God. There is nothing we can do to make us good enough for heaven. But God made a way.

Christ lived a perfect, blameless life and provided the perfect sacrifice for our sins. He died in
our place. It is only by Gods grace that we can have eternal life with Him in heaven. All we have
to do is have faith, to believe Christ died for us and ask Him to forgive our sins.

2. Who need Salvation?

This salvation was and is offered to everyone on Gods own initiative, as an expression of His
love for sinners. His offer of eternal life is not a life that only begins after death. It is that quality
of life that is eternal, beginning at the moment one believes in Jesus and continuing into eternity.
The Bible says, For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever
believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16.
Man was created by God in His own image as the crowning work of His creation. In the
beginning, man was good and was endowed by his Creator with freedom of choice. By his free
choice, man sinned against God. Every person afterward inherited a nature and an environment
inclined toward sin. As soon as they are capable of moral action, they, too, become sinners and
are condemned. The Bible says, For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God Romans
3:23.
That is why salvation are needed by all human being who have sinned, small or big in order for
us to be saved from the eternal damnation for the punishment of our sins in the in eternity.
All human beings who have sinned, small or big. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory
of God (Roman 3:23). All of us are destined to be punished. For the wages of sin is death
(Roman 6:23). Death here refers to the spiritual death.
We are composed of body, soul and spirit. The spirit is the Spirit of God who is in a human being
(Genesis 2:7). But we left with body and soul, and the Spirit of God departs from us since the
first moment we committed sin (Genesis 3:23).
The worse is, if we will meet our physical death while the spirit is not with us, we will definitely
face judgment and go to eternal damnation (Hebrews 9:27).

3. When is the time to acquire salvation?

Being sinners, we should acquire salvation NOW, while we are still alive and we still have time
to correct our wrong doings, because if we die without having it prayers, masses, ceremonies
offered to the souls, are no longer saves our souls.

*As Gods fellow workers, we urge you not to receive Gods grace in vain. For He says: In the
time of favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you. Behold now is the time of
favor; now is the day of salvation! 2 Corinthians 6:2
* But as for me, my prayer is to You, O LORD, at an acceptable time; O God, in the greatness of
Your lovingkindness, Answer me with Your saving truth. Psalm 69:13
*Thus says the LORD, "In a favorable time I have answered you, and in a day of salvation I have
helped You; And I will keep You and give You for a covenant of the people, To restore the land,
to make them inherit the desolate heritages; Isaiah 49:8

4. How to acquire Salvation?

To acquire salvation we must have saving faith in Christ, in which Repentance and faith are
inseparable experiences of grace. Repentance is a genuine turning from sin toward God. Faith is
the acceptance of Jesus Christ and confessing Him as your personal Lord and Savior. God, in
turn, responds to this commitment by forgiving all your sins by the work of Jesus Christ on the
cross. The Bible says, But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become
children of God, even to those who believe in His name -John 1:12
*When you believe on Jesus Christ, accepting Gods gift of salvation, you are justified (declared
free of the guilt and penalty of sin) before God because of what Jesus has done. God forgives you
of all of your sins. Your relationship with God is restored; you become His child.
-1 John 3:810.

*To receive the redemption God provided for all of us through Jesus Christ, believe the truth.
Turn to God. The Bible says, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved
Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out Whosoever shall call on
the name of the Lord shall be saved.
(Acts 2:21). (Acts 16:31). (Acts 3:19, ESV).

*Gods truth is simple. You can believe in Him. Humble yourself as a little child and admit your
need for God. Turn away from sin. Come to Jesus. He beckons to you with open arms. He has
already purchased our salvation

Being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom
also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of
God Romans 5:12.

*. If we have repented to our sins and believed in the Gospel in response to Gods invitation, the
Bible says you can know that you have eternal life. Do not trust in your feelings, but trust God
now because of His absolute integrity, the righteousness of His character, and the truthfulness of
His Word. The Bible says, And the testimony is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this
life is in His Son. He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not
have the life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so
that you may know that you have eternal life. 1 John 5:11-13.
1. Realize that you are a sinner. We are all unclean, that even our good works are just likened to
filthy rags in the sight of God (Isaiah 64:6).
2. Realize that your sin has punishment (1 Corinthians 6:9; Romans 6:23; Revelation 22:10;
Galatians 5:19 - 21, etc)
3. Repent and ask for forgiveness (Acts 2:38, Luke 11:4, Matthew 6:12, etc.)
4. Accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and Lord (John 1:12; John 3:16; Acts
4:12; John 14:6; Isaiah 9:6, etc.).
5. Study the Word of God by reading and studying the Scriptures and develop your faith by
learning (2 Timothy 3:16; Romans 10:12; Psalm 119:105, etc.).

Prayer:
God, thank you for your gift of eternal life. I know that I am a sinner and that I cannot save
myself. I am willing to repent from my sins. I believe that Jesus Christ your son, which He died
for my sins on the cross, and that He rose from the dead. I now put my complete trust in you
alone, Lord Jesus, as my Savior and for eternal life. I invite you to come into my heart and life
May you show me the way towards the eternal life with you. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus
name, Amen.
