Salman Khan, who is now the face for the popular fabric brand – Mayur Suitings today unveiled
the exclusive six collection of the upcoming 2007 spring collection in a glittering ceremony at
Jaipur today. The distinct range of Mayur Suitings is made from premium fabric, which is on par
with the best international range available in suitings. These six ranges include the following:

that I have been looking for. The fabric is smooth, comfortable and elegant, all the more it adds

involved with it.” Said Salman Khan at the occasion.
The ceremony took place at WelcomHotel Rajputana Palace Sheraton, Jaipur on 12 th April 2006.
The event was attended by more than 100 dealers and agents of Mayur Fabric, who were flown in
from all over the country. Salman presence at the event only reaffirms his belief in the brand and
an active partner in growth of the brand.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Riju Jhunjhunwala said: “I am happy to unveil the national
collection of Mayur Suitings from the state from where our group took the first step. This
national launch of the 2007 marks yet another chapter in the Indian textile industry as Mayur
becomes the first brand to introduce our range to nation from Jaipur. This is our sincere attempt
to get Rajasthan on the world map. We want to try and capture the color and spirit of the land
of Maharajas in our clothing line.”
Among other initiatives Mayur Suitings, is working on strengthening is distribution and retail
network with special focus on west and south. It plans to increase its presence to 15000 multi-
brand outlets in next two years. The company has also invested 200 million rupees in
modernization and up gradation of the entire weaving and processing facilities at Mordi,
Banswara.
Mayur Suiting is part of RSWM Ltd, which is formerly known as Rajasthan Spinning and
Weaving Mills Ltd, the flagship company of the LNJ Bhilwara Group and is one of the largest
textile manufacturers in the country. FSWM is primarily engaged in the manufacture of synthetic,
blended, mélange, specialty yarns and fabrics.
RSWM is formed in 1961 an IS/ISO 9001:2001 accredited. It hat moved from strength to strength
and it is today the largest manufacturer and exporter of synthetic spun yarn from India. RSWM
has, since 1993 been the largest exporter of P/V Blended Yarn and is now a diversified textile
manufacturer. It is exporting a complete range of yarn and fabric to over 60 countries worldwide,
giving RSWM a markedly visible presence across the textile world. It has a turnover of Rs. 1000
crore (US$ 222 million) for FY ending March 2006.
The manufacturing capacity of the Company is upwards a 70,000 MT of Yarn per annum from its
five units – Gulabpura, Banswara, Mandpam, Rishabhdev and Ringas located in Rajasthan.
RSWM also has facility to manufacture 12 million meters of fabric per annum at its LNJ Nagar,
Mordi unit.
All the plants are equipped with state-of-the-art machines and Captive Power Generation
facilities. RSWM is the first composite textile mill in India to be accorded the ISO Certification.
The Company also enjoys a prestigious ‘Three Star Export House’ status and, over the years, has
received several Export Awards from SRTEPC. The company’s leadership in the textile industry
is exemplified in the equity that its brand enjoys in the Indian market – place – ‘Mayur Suitings’.
RSWM is in the process of modernization drive and increase of spindles of its all the
manufacturing units. RSWM has also acquired a state-of-the-art process house at Mordi,
Banswara. RSWM has also started production for international brands at its state of the art
garment facility near Bangalore.
As part of its ongoing capex initiatives RSWM is setting up a 27 million meter denim facility at
LNJ Nagar to add to its current product mix. The denim plant will be commissioned in two
phases, the fist phase likely to start commercial production in the first quarter of FY 08.
Furthermore a 46mw thermal power plant is also being commissioned at LNJ Nagar, Mordi,
which will cater to captive power requirements of all eight units of RSWM in Rajasthan.
