Introduction of company
The Companys history was marked by the founding of PT. Kabel

Indonesia (Kabelindo) in 1972, a foreign invested Company at the time and
one of the first cable manufacturers in Indonesia. In 1979, the Companys
ownership was transferred to Indonesians and names was changed to PT.
Kabelindo Murni.
The quality assurance of the products is the main issue that the
Company emphasizes. The electrical cables produced by the Company has
passed the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) and National Power Company
Standard (SPLN). The Company completes several international standards
such us : Standard International Electrotechnical (IEC), Australian Standard
(AS), British Standard (BS), Japanese Industrial Standard (JIS) and Insulated
Cable Engineers Association / National Electrical Manufacturers Association
(ICEA/NEMA)
To Support the Companys commitment to quality, the Company has the

ISO 9001:2008 OHSAS 18001 : 2007 ISO 14001 : 2004 certificate.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Overhead conductors are classified by the types of materials used for conductors, types of reinforcing
cores used, and either it is bare or insulated. This catalogue contains design, construction and technical data of 's
whole range of overheadconductors including bare half hard or hard drawn copper conductors; aluminium
conductors; aluminium-alloy conductors; aluminium conductors, steel reinforced; aluminium conductors,
aluminium-clad steel reinforced; aluminium conductors, aluminium-alloy reinforced; composite core reinforced
and weather-resistant XLPE insulated service drop cables.
The conductors designs detailed in this catalogue are in accordance with the relevant SPLN, DIN, IEC, ASTM, BS
and JIS standards. However, Kabelindo can also supply a range of alternative designs to meet customer specified
requirements.
It is essential that the type of conductor ordered is suitable for its intended use. Conductor choice will be based
on the whole range of factors including transmission voltages, installation specifications, environmental
conditions in the project terrain, and the performance characteristics of appropriate conductor types. It is
therefore not possible to provide a conclusive guide to conductor selection. Contact us for specialist advice on
suitable conductor designs that meet your specific needs.

appropriate installation accessories. However, as finished diameters may sometimes vary, please contact
our technical department for actual dimensions of all finished products. Similarly, conductor weights may
