SUMMARY

I plan to obtain a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering
and to design and construct prosthetic limbs for the physically disabled for my occupation. My
affinity for mathematics was born out of my exemplary Algebra 1 teacher, and it was my
calculus teacher that developed in me a love to think critically and problem solve and a passion
for calculus. These qualities, as well as my desire to make a difference in the lives of the
physically disabled, secured my dream to become a biomedical engineer. Because of my tenacity
and determination to succeed, I know that I will reach my future goals.
